Abstract

ABSTRAK Motorik halus dilakukan sejak usia dini sehingga potensi yang dimiliki dapat berkembang optimal. Kegiatan finger painting sebagai salah satu kegiatan yang dapat mengembangkan motorik halus anak. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana mengembangkan kemampuan motorik halus anak usia 4-5 tahun melalui kegiatan finger painting di RA Al – Hidayah Pringsewu. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian deskriftif kualitatif dengan subjek penelitian guru dan peserta didik di kelas A RA Al – Hidayah Pringsewu. Pengumpul menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Kemudian data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan Triangulasi. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan terdapat 4 cara mengembangkan motoric halus melalui kegiatan Finger Painting, diantaranya : (i) Guru menggunakan alat dan bahan yang menarik dalam proses kegiatan finger painting sehingga anak lebih bersemangat. (ii) guru tidak hanya focus pada kegiatan finger painting saja, melainkan mengajak anak untuk melihat bahan bahan yang digunakan dan Tanya-jawab tentang alat dan bahan yang digunakan. (iii) guru mengarahkan dan memotivasi. (iv) guru mengevaluasi dan memberikan penilaian. Kata Kunci : Finger Painting, Motorik Halus, Anak Usia Dini iii ABSTRACT Fine motor skills are carried out from an early age so that their potential can develop optimally. Finger painting is an activity that can develop children's fine motor skills. The aim of this research is to find out how to develop the fine motor skills of children aged 4-5 years through activitiesfinger painting at RA Al – Hidayah Pringsewu. This research uses qualitative descriptive research with the research subjects being teachers and students in class A RA Al - Hidayah Pringsewu. Collectors use observation, interviews and documentation. Then the data obtained was analyzed using Triangulation. The research results show that there are 4 ways to develop fine motor skills through activitiesFinger Painting, including: (i) The teacher uses interesting tools and materials in the process of finger painting activities so that children are more enthusiastic. (ii) teachers do not only focus on activitiesfinger painting only, but rather invite children to look at the materials used and ask questions about the tools and materials used.
