Abstract

ABSTRAK PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN SEARCH, SOLVE, CREATE, AND SHARE (SSCS) DENGAN SCAFFOLDING TERHADAP HIGHER ORDER THINKING SKILLS (HOTS) Oleh Dwi Rahma Pelita Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Search Solve Create and Share (SSCS) dengan Scaffolding terhadap Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) peserta didik Jenis penelitian yang telah dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas XI di SMAN Bandar Lampung. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Dengan kelas XI KP 1 sebagai kelas Eksperimen dan kelas XI KP 2 sebagai kelas Kontrol. Berdasarkan Hasil uji Indepedent-Sample T Test menunjukan taraf signifikansi sebesar 0,02 lebih kecil dari α = 0,05 (Sig < 0,05 ) yang berarti bahwa H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Hasil uji statistik ini menunjukan bahwa kemampuan higher order thinking skills peserta didik sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan model pembelajaran SSCS dengan Scaffolding tidak sama atau dengan kata lain terdapat perbedaan. Melihat angket respon siswa terhadap penggunaan model SSCS dengan Scaffolding mendapat respon positif dari siswa yaitu 88% dan nilai rata-rata post-test kelas eksperimen lebih besar dari nilai post-test kelas kontrol maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran SSCS dengan Scaffolding berpengaruh terhadap higher order thinking skills peserta didik. The population in this study was all grade XI students at SMAN Bandar Lampung. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling. With class XI KP 1 as the Experimental class and class XI KP 2 as the Control class. Based on the results of the Indepedent-Sample T Test test shows a significance level of 0.02 smaller than α = 0.05 (Sig < 0.05) which means that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. The results of this statistical test show that the ability of higher order thinking skills of students before and after using the SSCS learning model with Scaffolding is not the same or in other words there are differences. Seeing that the questionnaire of student responses to the use of the SSCS model with Scaffolding received a positive response from students, which was 88% and the average post-test score of the experimental class was greater than the post-test value of the control class, it can be concluded that the SSCS learning model with Scaffolding affects the higher order thinking skills of students.
