Abstract

ABSTRAK Kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis dan kemampuan verbal peserta didik dalam pembelajaran matematika merupakan suatu hal yang harus dimiliki oleh peserta didik. Berdasarkan prapenelitian yang peneliti lakukan di SMP Negeri 1 Belitang Jaya, menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan pemahaman konsep dan kemampuan verbal peserta didik masih sangat minim atau rendah, hal ini diketahui dari hasil wawancara dan hasil tes pada prapenelitian yang telah dilakukan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh hasil belajar peserta didik yang menggunakan model pembelajaran LAPS-Heuristic dan Direct Instruction terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian Quasy Ekperimental Desaign. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Belitang Jaya tahun pelajaran 2023/2024. Prngambilam sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik Cluster Random Sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan dokumentasi. Analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan Analysis Of Variance (Anova) dengan sig  0,05. Berdasarkan perhitungan yang telah dilakukan mendapatkan hasil, pada hipotesis pertama diperoleh nilai sig = 0,005  0,05, sehingga ditolak, hipotesis kedua diperoleh nilai sig = 0,001  0,05, sehingga ditolak, hipotesis ketiga diperoleh nilai sig = 0,191  0,05, sehingga diterima. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa : (1) terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran LAPS-Heuristic berbantuan media Senja Rensi terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis, (2) terdapat pengaruh kemampuan verbal peserta didik terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis, (3) tidak terdapat interaksi antara model pembelajaran Laps-Heuristic berbantuan media Senja Rensi dan kemampuan verbal peserta didik terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis. Based on pre-research that the researcher conducted at SMP Negeri 1 Belitang Jaya, it showed that students ability to understand concepts and verbal abilities are still very minimal or low, this is known from the results of interviews and test results in the pre�research that has been carried out. The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of learning outcomes of students who use the LAPS-Heuristic learning model and Direct Instruction on the ability to understand mathematical concepts. This research uses a Quasy Experimental Design type of research. The population in this study were all class VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Belitang Jaya for the academic year 2023/2024. The sampling in this study used the Cluster Random Sampling technique. Data collection techniques using test and documentation. Data analysis in this study used the Analysis Of Variance (Anova) test with sig  0,05. Based on the calculations that have been carried out, the results are obtained, in the first hypothesis the value of sig = 0,005  0,05, si that is rejected, the second hypothesis is obtained the value of sig = 0,001  0,05, so that is rejected, the third hypothesis is obtained the value of sig = 0,191  0,05, so that is accepted. This shows that : (1) there is an influence of learning using the LAPS-Heuristic learning model assisted by Senja Rensi media on the ability to understand mathematical concepts, (2) there is the influence of students‘ verbal abilities on their ability to understand mathematical concepts, (3) there is not interaction between LAPS-Heuristic assisted by Senja Rensi and students‘ verbal abilities on their ability to understand mathematical concepts.
