Abstract

ABSTRAK Bahan ajar dapat didesain sesuai dengan kebutuhan peserta didik agar peserta didik senantiasa tertarik untuk mempelajarinya. Salah satu metode yang diduga mampu membuat suasana pembelajaran yang menarik, memotivasi peserta didik dan menyenangkan ketika peserta didik mempelajari materi adalah mind mapping. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar berbasis Mind Mapping pada materi Benda dan Sifatnya di SD/MI, dan mengetahui tingkat kepraktisan serta kelayakan bahan ajar yang digunakan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model 4D yaitu Model ini terdiri dari empat tahap pengembangan, yaitu Define, Design, Develop, dan Disseminate terbatas. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan juni 2023 di MIN 9 Bandar Lampung dan SDN 2 Harapan Jaya dengan sampel penelitian peserta didik kelas V. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh Validator Ahli Media 1 dengan presentase kelayakan 98%, Validator Ahli Media 2 dengan presentase kelayakan 92%, hasil Validator Ahli Materi 1 dengan presentase kelayakan 81%, Validator Ahli Materi 2 dengan presentase kelayakan 87%, dan hasil Validator Ahli Bahasa 1 dengan presentase kelayakan 80%, Validator Ahli Bahasa 2 dengan presentase kelayakan 82% Hasil penilaian validator bahwa pengembangan bahan ajar berbasis mind mapping ”Sangat Layak” digunakan. Hasil penilaian Pendidik I di SDN 2 Harapan Jaya sebesar 89%, penilaian Pendidik 2 di MIN 9 Bandar Lampung sebesar 91%, dengan kategori ”Sangat Layak” digunakan. Hasil uji coba skala kecil memperoleh presentase 93%. Hasil ujicoba skala besar memperoleh presentase 90%. dengan kategori ”Sangat Layak” digunakan. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu bahan ajar dengan materi benda dan sifatnya dengan berbasis mind mapping mendapatkan kevalidan dari ahli media, ahli materi dan ahli bahasa dapat dinyatakan sangat layak dan praktis dimana respon peserta didik terhadap bahan ajar memberikan respon setuju dan sangat setuju. This research aims to develop Mind Mapping-based teaching materials on Objects and Their Properties in SD/MI, and determine the level of practicality and suitability of the teaching materials used. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with a 4D model, namely this model consists of four development stages, namely Define, Design, Develop, and limited Disseminate. This research was carried out in June 2023 at MIN 9 Bandar Lampung and SDN 2 Harapan Jaya with a research sample of class V students. Based on the results obtained by Media Expert Validator 1 with a feasibility percentage of 98%, Media Expert Validator 2 with a feasibility percentage of 92%, the results Material Expert Validator 1 with a feasibility percentage of 81%, Material Expert Validator 2 with a feasibility percentage of 87%, and the results of Language Expert Validator 1 with a feasibility percentage of 80%, Language Expert Validator 2 with a feasibility percentage of 82%. The results of the validator's assessment show that the development of teaching materials is mind-based "Very Feasible" mapping is used. The results of Teacher I's assessment at SDN 2 Harapan Jaya were 89%, Teacher 2's assessment at MIN 9 Bandar Lampung was 91%, with the "Very good" category used. The results of small scale trials obtained a percentage of 93%. The results of large-scale trials obtained a percentage of 90%. with the category "Very good" is used. The conclusion of this research is that teaching materials with material objects and their properties based on mind mapping obtain validity from media experts, material experts and language experts and can be declared very feasible and practical where students' responses to teaching materials give agree and strongly agree responses.
