Abstract

ABSTRAK Kecamatan Dente Teladas Kabupaten Tulang Bawang sampai saat ini masih memanfaatkan tumbuhan sebagai pengobatan tradisional untuk menyembuhkan berbagai jenis penyakit. Tujuan penelitian mengetahui jenis-jenis tumbuhan, cara pengolahan, cara pengobatan, dan mengetahui status konservasi dari masing-masing tumbuhan obat yang digunakan oleh masyarakat di Kecamatan Dente Teladas Kabupaten Tulang Bawang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif menggunakan pendekatan deskripsi. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, wawancara, serta dokumentasi. Teknik pengambilan sampel Snowball sampling dan Purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian dianalisis dengan dideskripsikan. Hasil penelitian didapatkan 42 spesies tumbuhan obat yang dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat di Kecamatan Dente Teladas Kabupaten Tulang Bawang. Cara pengolahan tumbuhan obat tersebut yaitu dengan cara direbus, ditumbuk, diparut, diremas, dipanggang, dikunyah, diseduh, diperas, dan dipotong. Cara pemakaian obatnya diminum, dimakan/dilalap, ditempel, direndam, dibalur, dioles, dan diteteskan. Status konservasi masing-masing tumbuhan obat berdasarkan IUCN (International Union for the Convervation of Nature) diketahui masuk dalam kategori Least Concorn (LC: Resiko Rendah), Vulnarable (VU: Rentan), Data Deficient (DD: Data Kurang), dan Not Evaluated (NE: Belum dievaluasi). Kata kunci : Dente Teladas, Etnobotani, Tumbuhan Obat. iii ABSTRACT Dente Teladas District Tulang Bawang Regency until now still uses plants as traditional medicine to cure various types of diseases. The purpose of the study was to know the types of plants, how to process, how to treat, and to know the conservation status of each medicinal plant used by the community in Dente Teladas District, Tulang Bawang Regency. This type of research is qualitative using a description approach. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews, and, documentation. Snowball sampling and purposive sampling techniques. The results of the study were analyzed by describing. The results of the study found 42 species of medicinal plants used by the community in Dente Teladas District, Tulang Bawang Regency. How to process these medicinal plants is by boiling, pounding, grated, kneading, baking, chewing, brewing, squeezing, and cutting. How to use the medicine is drunk, eaten/engulfed , pasted, soaked, bandaged, smeared, and dripped. The conservation status of each medicinal plant based on IUCN (International Union for the Convervation of Nature) is known to be included in the categories of Least Concorn (LC: Low Risk), Vulnarable (VU: Vulnerable), Data Deficient (DD: Data Less), and Not Evaluated (NE: Not yet evaluated).
