Abstract

ABSTRAK Eco-enzyme adalah larutan hasil dari fermentasi limbah organik berupa limbah sayuran dan buah-buahan, yang dicampurkan dengan gula merah dan air. Eco-enzyme memiliki banyak manfaat salah satunya adalah sebagai nutrisi untuk meningkatkan pertumbuhan tanaman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh penggunaan eco-enzyme pada pertumbuhan tanaman pakcoy (Brassica rapa L.) dengan sistem hidroponik desain wick (sumbu). Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen, yang dilakukan pada bulan Januari–Juli 2023 di Laboratorium UPT Laboratorium Terpadu dan Sentra Inovasi Teknologi Universitas Lampung. Parameter yang diamati adalah tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, panjang akar, berat basah, dan berat kering tanaman pakcoy. Penelitian ini mengunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 5 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan. Terdiri dari: P0 (Kontrol), P1 (2 ml eco�enzyme/1 L air), P2 (3 ml eco-enzyme/1 L air), P3 (4 ml eco-enzyme/1 L air), P4 (5 ml eco-enzyme/1 L air). Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan uji Analisis Ragam (Analysis of Variance) atau ANOVA, kemudian jika terdapat pengaruh nyata terhadap perlakuan diuji lanjut dengan Tukey’s pada taraf nyata=5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan eco-enzyme berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman pakcoy. Perlakuan terbaik terdapat pada perlakuan P4 dengan dosis 5 ml/L eco-enzyme dengan hasil tinggi 25,10 cm, jumlah daun 15 helai, panjang akar 28,10 cm berat segar 62 gram, dan berat kering 8 gram. Kata Kunci: Eco-Enzyme, Pupuk Organik Cair, Hidroponik, Tanaman Pakcoy. iv ABSTRACT Eco-enzyme is a solution resulting from the fermentation of organic waste, such as vegetable and fruit waste, mixed with brown sugar and water. Eco-enzyme has many benefits, one of which is serving as a nutrient to enhance plant growth. This research aims to investigate the influence of eco-enzyme on the growth of pakchoi plants (Brassica rapa L.) using a wick hydroponic system. This experimental study was conducted from January to July 2023 at the Laboratory of UPT Integrated Laboratory and Technology Innovation Center, Lampung University. Parameters observed included plant height, leaf count, root length, fresh weight, and dry weight of pakchoi plants. The study utilized a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 5 treatments and 5 replications, consisting of: P0 (Control), P1 (2 ml eco-enzyme/1 L water), P2 (3 ml eco-enzyme/1 L water), P3 (4 ml eco-enzyme/1 L water), P4 (5 ml eco�enzyme/1 L water). Data obtained were analyzed using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA), and if a significant effect on treatments was observed, further testing was conducted using Tukey's test at a significance level of 5%. The research results indicate that the use of eco-enzyme has a positive impact on the growth of pakchoi plants. The best treatment was found in P4 with a dose of 5 ml/L eco-enzyme, resulting in a height of 25.10 cm, 15 leaves, root length of 28.10 cm, fresh weight of 62 grams, and dry weight of 8 grams.
