Abstract

ABSTRAK Laba bersih perusahaan pada PT mustika ratu Tbk masih mengalami fluktuasi , hal ini dipengaruhi oleh factor yaitu biaya produksi dan biaya promosi. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu mengkaji pengaruh biaya produksi dan biaya promosi terhadap laba bersih perusahaan pada PT Mustika Ratu Tbk tahun 2015-2022. Pendekatan ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif yang bersifat asosiatif kausal yaitu pendekatan yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan atau pengaruh antara satu variabel dengan variable lainnya. Sumber data pada penelitian ini yaitu data sekunder yang berasal dari laporan keuangan triwulan perusahaan Pt Mustika Ratu. Tehnik pengambilan sampel menggunakan Tehnik purposive sampling, yakni penentuan sampel berdasarkan kriteria. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 32 laporan keuangan. Metode analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yakni software SPSS. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa variabel biaya produksi tidak berpengaruh terhadap laba bersih perusahaan. melalui pernyataan tersebut dapat diketahui besarnya biaya produksi yang dikeluarkan untuk menghasilkan barang sesuai dengan standar perusahaan tidak sebanding dengan laba bersih yang didapatkan oleh perusahaan. Sedangkan variabel biaya promosi juga tidak berpengaruh terhadap laba bersih perusahaan karena adanya factor lain yang dipertimbangkan oleh perusahaan ketika membeli barang salah satunya yaitu mutu barang yang dimiliki oleh perusahaan. untuk peneliti selanjutnya diharapkan dapat memperluas penelitian dengan variable, unit analisis dan sampel yang dapat mempengaruhi kinerja keuangan. This approach uses a quantitative approach that is associative causal in nature, namely an approach that aims to determine the relationship or influence between one variable and other variables. The data source in this research is secondary data originating from the quarterly financial reports of the company Pt Mustika Ratu. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling technique, namely determining samples based on criteria. The number of samples in this research was 32 financial reports. The data analysis method used in this research is SPSS software. The results of this research show that the production cost variable has no effect on the company's net profit. Through this statement, it can be seen that the amount of production costs incurred to produce goods according to company standards is not commensurate with the net profit obtained by the company. Meanwhile, the promotional cost variable also has no effect on the company's net profit because there are other factors that the company considers when purchasing goods, one of which is the quality of the goods owned by the company. It is hoped that future researchers will be able to expand the research with variables, units of analysis and samples that can influence financial performance.
