Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Model Pembelajaran RADEC Read, Answer, Discuss, Esxplain, Create) terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik kelas V di MIN 11 Bandar Lampung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Quasi Experimental atau eksperimen semu dengan desain penelitian Posttest Only Control Group. Sampel penelitian ini terdiri dari dua kelas, yaitu kelas kontrol mendapatkan pembelajaran konvensional dan kelas eksperimen mendapatkan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model RADEC Read, Answer, Discuss, Esxplain, Create). Data dikumpulkan melalui instrumen test berpikir kritis yang telah divalidasi sebelumnya. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh yang signifikan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik yang mendapatkan pembelajaran melalui model RADEC Read, Answer, Discuss, Esxplain, Create). Temuan ini menunjukan bahwa penerapan model RADEC Read, Answer, Discuss, Esxplain, Create) mampu mendorong pengembangan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik di tingkat SD/MI. Selain itu, hasil penelitian ini juga memberikan implikasi praktis terhadap penerapan strategi pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di tingkat SD/MI. The research method used is Quasi Experimental or pseudo-experiment with Posttest Only Control Group research design. The sample of this study consisted of two classes, namely the control class getting conventional learning and the experimental class getting learning using the RADEC model Read, Answer, Discuss, Esxplain, Create). Data was collected through a pre-validated critical thinking test instrument. Based on the results of the study showed a significant influence on the critical thinking ability of students who get learning through the RADEC model Read, Answer, Discuss, Esxplain, Create). This finding shows that the application of the RADEC model (Read, Answer, Discuss, Esxplain, Create) is able to encourage the development of critical thinking skills of students at the elementary / MI level. In addition, the results of this study also provide practical implications for the implementation of learning strategies that can improve the quality of education at the elementary / MI level.
