Abstract

ABSTRAK Remaja yang disebut masa mencari jati diri, yang pada tahun 2023 merupakan kasus kekerasan terbanyak sejumlah 9.469 korban. Keluarga yang merupakan tempat awal pembentukan, sama seperti halnya remaja yang hidup dan tinggal di Panti Asuhan yang mengalami disfungsi keluarga yang sangat penting dilakukan pembentukkan kepribadian mandiri remaja sebagai kemampuan untuk dapat bertahan dalam menjalani kehidupan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pengambilan purposive sampling, dengan jenis penelitian Field Research atau penelitian lapangan, dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana Komunikasi persuasif yang digunakan pengasuh seperti bentuk, teknik dan efek dalam pembentukan kepribadian mandiri remaja di Panti Asuhan Afifah Afwa Kedamaian Bandar Lampung. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan sifat deskriptif dengan mengambil sampel 8 orang yaitu 2 pengurus serta 6 remaja Panti Asuhan Afifah Afwa. Adapun hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa Komunikasi Persuasif yang digunakan Pengasuh dalam melakukan pembentukan kepribadian mandiri remaja sudah cukup baik, melalui pendekatan secara emosional yang dilakukan pengasuh seperti menerima dan menghargai keunikan latar belakang remaja sebelumnya, melalui dukungan juga kesabaran sesuai dengan komunikasi persuasif yang diterapkan kepada remaja. Pada pelaksanaanya terdapat faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya, namun pengasuh menerapkan metode yang tepat melalui pelaksanaan kegiatan rutin di Panti Asuhan Afifah Afwa. Sehingga mendapatkan keberhasilan dengan remaja dapat menerima dan ikhlas dengan keadaan yang dihadapinya, serta bersyukur dapat diberikan kesempatan untuk melanjutkan pendidikan hingga dapat meraih prestasi. The family that is the initial place of formation, just like adolescents who live and live in orphanages who experience family dysfunction which is very important is carried out the formation of the independent personality of adolescents as the ability to survive in life. This study uses the purposive sampling method, with the type of Field Research or field research, with the aim of knowing how persuasive communication used by caregivers such as forms, techniques and effects in the formation of independent personalities of adolescents at the Afifah Afwa Peace Orphanage Bandar Lampung. This research is a qualitative research with a descriptive nature by taking samples of 8 people, namely 2 administrators and 6 adolescents of the Afifah Afwa Orphanage. The results of this study show that the persuasive communication used by caregivers in forming an independent personality of adolescents is quite good, through an emotional approach taken by caregivers such as accepting and appreciating the uniqueness of previous adolescent backgrounds, through support and patience in accordance with persuasive communication applied to adolescents. In its implementation, there are factors that influence it, but caregivers apply the right method through the implementation of routine activities at the Afifah Afwa Orphanage. So that getting success with adolescents can accept and be sincere with the circumstances they face, and be grateful to be given the opportunity to continue their education to achieve achievements.
