Abstract

ABSTRAK Berpikir reflektif adalah berpikir yang melibatkan bersikap proaktif, gigih, dan mempertimbangkan secara menyeluruh segala sesuatu yang diyakini benar untuk memecahkan kesulitan. Pemecahan masalah matematis merupakan suatu proses untuk mengatasi kesulitan-kesulitan yang dihadapi untuk mencapai tujuan yang diharapkan. Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan berpikir reflektif, self confidence, dan pemecahan masalah matematis peserta didik di SMPN 35 Bandar Lampung, hal ini sesuai dengan hasil prapenelitian yang menunjukan bahwa masih banyak peserta didik yang nilainya dibawah KKM dan peserta didik lebih memilih melihat jawaban teman ketika diberikan tugas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan berpikir reflektif dan self confidence terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis secara langsung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian korelasional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VIII SMPN 35 Bandar Lampung. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah stratified random sampling dengan instrumen penelitian berupa tes uraian dan angket. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Analisis SEM. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan analisis SEM dengan signifikasi 0,05 diperoleh bahwa (1) Terdapat hubungan langsung berpikir reflektif terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis, (2) Terdapat hubungan langsung self confidence terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis, (3) Terdapat hubungan langsung berpikir reflektif dan self confidence terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis. Kata kunci : Berpikir Reflektif, Self Confidence, Pemecahan Matematis iv ABSTRACT Reflective thinking is thinking that involves being proactive, persistent, and thoroughly considering everything that is believed to be true to solve difficulties. Mathematical problem solving is a process for overcoming the difficulties faced to achieve the expected goals. This research was motivated by the low ability to think reflectively, self-confidence, and solve mathematical problems of students at SMPN 35 Bandar Lampung, this is in accordance with the results of pre-research which shows that there are still many students whose scores are below the KKM and students prefer to look at their friends' answers. when given a task. This research aims to determine the relationship between reflective thinking and self-confidence on direct mathematical problem solving abilities. This research uses a quantitative approach with a correlational type of research. The population in this study were class VIII students at SMPN 35 Bandar Lampung. The sampling technique used was stratified random sampling with research instruments in the form of description tests and questionnaires. The data analysis technique used in this research is SEM analysis. Hypothesis testing using SEM analysis with a significance of 0.05 shows that (1) There is a direct relationship between reflective thinking and mathematical problem solving abilities, (2) There is a direct relationship between self-confidence and mathematical problem solving abilities, (3) There is a direct relationship between reflective thinking and self-confidence. confidence in mathematical problem solving abilities.
