Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh kurangnya kemampuan pemecahan masalah peserta didik pada mata pelajaran matematika yang dibuktikan pada tidak tercapainya nilai indikator pemecahan masalah pada mata pelajaran matematika. Rumusan masalah pada penelitian ini yaitu adakah pengaruh metode problem solving berbantuan magic straws terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah kelas II di SD Negeri 2 Jatimulyo. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode problem solving berbantuan magic straws terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah kelas II di SD Negeri 2 Jatimulyo. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Quasy Experiment. Bentuk Quasy experiment yang digunakan adalah pretest�posttest control group design. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas II SD Negeri 2 Jatimulyo. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan yaitu sampel jenuh. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas II yaitu kelas IIA dan IIB. Kelas IIA sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas IIB sebagai kelas kontrol dengan pelaksanaan uji instrument di kelas IIIA dan IIIB dan dihitung validitas dan realibilitas. Instrument penelitian ini menggunakan instrument tes berupa soal essay berjumlah 10 soal. Validasi soal dilakukan dengan dua cara yaitu validasi isi dan validasi kontruks. Data penelitian dianalisis menggunakan uji hipotesis uji-t. Berdasarkan penelitian didapatkan hasil uji hipotesis menggunakan uji t-test uji SPSS versi 25 for windows mendapatkan nilai nilai Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0.000054. nilai Sig. (2-tailed) ini lebih kecil dari 0,05 (5%), dalam hal ini, artinya H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah adanya pengaruh metode problem solving berbantuan media magic straws terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah peserta didik kelas II SD Negeri 2 Jatimulyo Lampung Selatan. The formulation of the problem in this research is whether there is an influence of the problem solving method assisted by magic straws on class II problem solving abilities at SD Negeri 2 Jatimulyo. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of the problem solving method assisted by magic straws on class II problem solving abilities at SD Negeri 2 Jatimulyo. The type of research used is Quasy Experiment. The form of the Quasy experiment used is a pretest�posttest control group design. The population in this study were all class II students at SD Negeri 2 Jatimulyo. The sampling technique used was a saturated sample. The sample in this study was all class II, namely class IIA and IIB. Class IIA as the experimental class and class IIB as the control class by carrying out instrument tests in classes IIIA and IIIB and calculating validity and reliability. This research instrument uses a test instrument in the form of essay questions totaling 10 questions. Question validation is carried out in two ways, namely content validation and construct validation. Research data was analyzed using the t-test hypothesis test. Based on the research, the results of the hypothesis test using the SPSS version 25 for Windows t-test obtained a Sig value. (2- tailed) of 0.000054 . Sig value. (2-tailed) is smaller than 0.05 (5%), in this case, meaning that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. The conclusion of this research is that there is an influence of the problem solving method assisted by magic straws media on the problem solving abilities of class II students at SD Negeri 2 Jatimulyo South Lampung Keywords: problem solving method, magic straws, problem solving, mathematics
