Abstract

ABSTRAK Kemampuan pemahaman konsep IPA sangat diperlukan dalam pembelajaran IPA. Berdasarkan hasil pra penelitian yang dilakukan permasalahan yang melatar belakangi penelitian ini adalah masih rendahnya pemahaman peserta didik terhadap konsep IPA. Hal itu dapat dilihat pada nilai yang diperoleh peserta didik kelas IV MIN 4 Bandar Lampung pada prapenelitian 18 peserta didik yang mendapatkan nilai dibawah kttp dan 4 peserta didik diatas kttp. Oleh karena itu peneliti melakukan penelitian menggunakan model pembelajaran kontekstual. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah apakah terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran kontekstual terhadap pemahaman konsep IPA peserta didik kelas IV MIN 4 Bandar Lampung. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kontekstual terhadap pemahaman konsep IPA peserta didik kelas IV MIN 4 Bandar Lampung. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif eksperimen dengan Quasi experimental design . jenis penelitian ini menggunkan pretest dan posttest dikelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di MIN 4 Bandar Lampung. Dengan teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu teknik Cluster Random Sampling. Pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini terdiri dari dua kelompok kelas yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol, dimana kelas IV C selaku kelas eksperimen dan kelas IV B sebagai kelas kontrol. Dengan teknik pengambilan data menggunakan tes. Buku diperoleh dari buku�buku mengenai model pembelajaran kontekstual terhadap pemahaman konsep IPA peserta didik. Berdasarkan pengolahan data hasil analisis melalui SPSS static 27, dalam uji hipotesis yang dilakukan menggunakan uji-t dengan taraf signifikan o,05 (5%) yakni diperoleh 0,003 < 0,05 , dengan demikian dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari model pembelajaran kontekstual terhadap pemahaman konsep IPA peserta didik kelas IV MIN 4 Bandar Lampung. Kata kunci : Model pembelajaran, Kontekstual, pemahaman konsep IPA. ABSTRACT The ability to understand science concepts is very necessary in learning science. A good understanding of concepts becomes the basis for developing subsequent material. Based on the results of the pre-research carried out, the problem behind this research is that students' understanding of science concepts is still low. Therefore, to overcome this problem, a learning model is needed that influences students' understanding of science concepts in science learning. This can be seen in the scores obtained by class IV students at MIN 4 Bandar Lampung in the pre-research, 18 students who got scores below the ID card and 4 students above the ID card. Therefore, researchers conducted research using a contextual learning model. The formulation of the problem in this research is whether there is an influence of the contextual learning model on the understanding of science concepts of class IV MIN 4 students in Bandar Lampung. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of the contextual learning model on the understanding of science concepts of class IV MIN 4 students in Bandar Lampung. This research is a quantitative experimental research with a Quasi experimental design. This type of research uses pretest and posttest in the experimental class and control class. This research was carried out at MIN 4 Bandar Lampung. With a sampling technique, namely the Cluster Random Sampling technique. The sampling in this study consisted of two class groups, namely the experimental class and the control class, where class IV C was the experimental class and class IV B was the control class. With data collection techniques using tests. Books were obtained from books regarding contextual learning models for students' understanding of science concepts. Based on data processing from analysis results via SPSS static 27, in hypothesis testing carried out using the t-test with a significance level of o.05 (5%), namely 0.003 < 0.05, thus it can be concluded that there is a significant influence from the learning model contextual to the understanding of science concepts of class IV MIN 4 students in Bandar Lampung.
