Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh fenomena perkembangan teknologi yang tumbuh semakin pesat pada Masyarakat, masa kini hidup dalam peradaban yang diidentifikasi sebagai “Revolusi Peradaban 4.0.” Revolusi peradaban 4.0 ini ditandai dengan hadirnya Teknologi Informasi 4.0. Hal tersebut memiliki dampak positif maupun negatif. Dampak positif dari perkembangan teknologi salah satunya meningkatkan intensitas interaksi sosial dan mmperluas hubungan pertemanan sehingga mampu memfasilitasi kebutuhan sosial, namun hal tersebut juga memiliki dampak negatif yang terjadi seperti cyberbullying. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, penulis mengembangkan media layanan informasi berupa e-comic strip tentang cyberbullying untuk memberikan pemahaman tentang cyberbullying yang dikemas lebih menarik. Hal ini selaras dengan masalah yang penulis temukan di MTs Negeri 1 Bandar Lampung yaitu minimnya pemahaman tentang cyberbullying pada peserta didik dikarenakan penyampaian layanan informasi yang digunakan masih konvensional dan tidak menarik minat peserta didik. Penelitian dilakukan mengacu pada metode Research and Development. Metode penelitian yang digunakan berupa metode ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implemntation dan Evaluation). Produk media e-comic strip ini mencakup materi tentang perilaku cyberbullying dan dimanfaatkan untuk memberikan layanan informasi kepada peserta didik. Uji kelayakan media e-comic strip menggunakan angket validasi ahli materi, dan ahli media, serta angket respon pendidik dan peserta didik dan juga soal uji pemahaman tentang cyberbullying. Sampel penelitian ini yaitu 10 peserta didik pada uji coba kelompok kecil dan 32 peserta didik pada uji coba kelompok besar. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik deskriptif yang memaparkan hasil pengembangan produk media e-comic strip. Dari hasil penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa persentase ahli media sebesar 86,29 % dan ahli materi sebesar 84,52%, sehingga media e�comic strip memiliki kategori sangat layak. Sementara hasil angket respon pendidik sebesar 100% dan peserta didik 87%. Dengan demikian media e-comic strip layak digunakan dan disebar luaskan. Kata Kunci : Cyberbullying, e-comic, komik strip, layanan informasi. iv ABSTRACT This research is motivated by the phenomenon of technological development which is growing increasingly rapidly in society, currently living in a civilization identified as "Civilizational Revolution 4.0." The Civilization Revolution 4.0 is marked by the presence of Information Technology 4.0. This has both positive and negative impacts. One of the positive impacts of technological developments is increasing the intensity of social interactions and expanding friendship relationships so that they can facilitate social needs, but this also has negative impacts such as cyberbullying. Based on these problems, the author developed information service media in the form of an e-comic strip about cyberbullying to provide an understanding of cyberbullying in a more interesting package. This is in line with the problem that the author found at MTs Negeri 1 Bandar Lampung, namely the lack of understanding about cyberbullying among students because the delivery of information services used is still conventional and does not attract students' interest. The research was carried out referring to the Research and Development method. The research method used is the ADDIE method (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). This e-comic strip media product includes material about cyberbullying behavior and is used to provide information services to students. Testing the feasibility of e-comic strip media using validation questionnaires from material experts and media experts, as well as teacher and student response questionnaires and also questions about understanding cyberbullying. The sample for this research was 10 students in small-group trials and 32 students in large-group trials. The data analysis technique uses descriptive techniques that explain the results of the development of e-comic strip media products. From the results of this research, it was found that the percentage of media experts was 86.29% and material experts was 84.52%, so e-comic strip media is a very feasible category. Meanwhile, the questionnaire response results from educators were 100% and students' responses were 87%. Thus, e-comic strip media is suitable for use and dissemination.
