Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian studi etnomedisin suku Bali terhadap pengobatan tradisional di desa Sidorejo dan Brawijaya kabupaten Lampung Timur telah dilakukan pada bulan Juni 2023. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui jenis tumbuhan yang dimanfaatkan, bagian tumbuhan yang dimanfaatkan, cara menggunakan tumbuhan sebagai obat, status konservasi tumbuhan obat, dan menentukan nilai guna (UVs), nilai penting (ICS), dan nilai pilihan (FL) dari tumbuhan obat yang digunakan oleh masyarakat suku Bali di Desa Sidorejo dan Brawijaya. Metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara terstruktur dengan 2 informan kunci yang ditentukan menggunakan metode Purposive sampling dan 50 informan nonkunci yang ditentukan dengan metode Snowball sampling. Hasil dari penelitian ini terdapat 29 jenis tumbuhan dari 19 famili yang dimanfaatakan sebagai obat oleh masyarakat suku Bali. Famili yang paling banyak digunakan yaitu Zingiberaceae (21%). Bagian tumbuhan yang paling banyak digunakan yaitu daun (48%). Pemanfaatan tumbuhan obat tersebut yang paling banyak dilakukan yaitu dengan cara direbus. Berdasarkan status konservasinya jenis tersebut terdiri dari Least Concern (LC), Critically Endangered (CR), Endangered (EN), Near Threatened (NT), dan Vulnerable (VU). Hasil dari nilai UVs paling tinggi yaitu 0,06, nilai yang sedang 0,04, dan nilai yang rendah 0,02. Hasil dari nilai ICS dengan kategori sangat rendah (ICS 0-10) ada 17 spesies dan kategori rendah (ICS 10-20) ada 12 spesies. Dari 44 nilai FL yang diperoleh terdapat 19 nilai FL dengan presentasi tertinggi yaitu 100% dan 1 nilai FL dengan presentasi terendah yaitu 17%.
