Abstract

ABSTRAK Dalam mencapai kinerja guru yang baik dapat di dukung dari beberapa faktor di antaranya yaitu gaya kepemimpinan demokratis kepala madrasah dimana kepala madrasah selalu memberikan kenyaman terhadap guru dalam pekerjaannya melalui gaya kepemimpinan demokratis untuk mencapai tujuan pendidikan. Hasil pra penelitian di MAN 2 Bandar Lampung menunjukkan bahwa indikator gaya kepemimpinan demokratis kepala madrasah sudah cukup baik, namun kepala madrasah kurang dalam menyikapi tanggap terhadap situasi seperti permasalahan yang ada di madrasah dan kinerja guru yang belum baik diantaranya menentukan media pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan karakteristik dan kebutuhan peserta didik, mengembangkan komponen�komponen pembelajaran. Dengan rumusan masalah yaitu apakah terdapat pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan demokratis kepala madrasah terhadap kinerja guru di MAN 2 Bandar Lampung. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan demokratis kepala madrasah terhadap kinerja guru di MAN 2 Bandar Lampung. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan penelitian Field Research. Sedangkan populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 74 responde guru MAN 2 Bandar Lampung. Dan sampel yang digunakan yaitu teknik sampling nonprobability sampling dengan pendekatan Sampling Sistematis dengan jumlah sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu 37 responden. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket langsung dengan perhitungan skala likert dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas dan uji linieritas. Sedangkan uji hipotesis menggunakan teknik regresi linier sederhana. Hasil penelitian ini peneliti menyimpulakn bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif antara gaya kepemimpinan demokratis kepala madrasah terdahap kinerja guru di MAN 2 Bandar Lampung dengan korelasi variabel bebas dan variabel terikat dengan nilai signifikansi 0,301 < 0,05 dan nilai Thitung 2,049 > Ttabel 2,030. Selain itu Rsquare dengan nilai sebesar 0,431 pada taraf signifikansi 5%. Hal ini berarti konstribusi variabel X (Gaya Kepemimpinan Demokratis Kepala Madrasah) terhadap variabel Y (Kinerja Guru) adalah nilai sebesar 68,2% dan sisanya sebesar 31,8% disebabkan oleh faktor lain yang bukan menjadi fokus pembahasan dalam penelitian ini. The results of pre-research at MAN 2 Bandar Lampung show that the indicators of the madrasa head's democratic leadership style are quite good, but the madrasa head is less responsive to situations such as problems in the madrasa and teachers' performance is not good, including determining learning media that suit their characteristics and characteristics. students' needs, developing learning components. The problem formulation is whether there is an influence of the madrasa head's democratic leadership style on teacher performance at MAN 2 Bandar Lampung. The aim of this research is to determine the influence of the madrasa head's democratic leadership style on teacher performance at MAN 2 Bandar Lampung. The method used in this research is a quantitative method with a field research approach. Meanwhile, the population in this study was 74 MAN 2 Bandar Lampung teacher respondents. And the sample used was a non-probability sampling technique with a systematic sampling approach with a sample size of 37 respondents in this study. The data collection technique uses a direct questionnaire with Likert scale calculations and documentation. Data analysis techniques use normality tests, homogeneity tests and linearity tests. Meanwhile, hypothesis testing uses simple linear regression techniques. From the results of this study, the researcher concluded that there was a positive influence between the democratic leadership style of the madrasa head on teacher performance at MAN 2 Bandar Lampung with a correlation between the independent variable and the dependent variable with a significance value of 0.301 < 0.05 and a Tcount value of 2.049 > Ttable 2.030. Apart from that, Rsquare has a value of 0.431 at a significance level of 5%. This means that the contribution of variable x & variable y is a value of 68.2% and the remaining 31.8% is caused by other factors which are not the focus of discussion in this research.
