Abstract

ABSTRAK Zakat produktif berperan penting dalam pemberdayaan ekonomi mustahik. Namun demikian, masih terdapat pengelolaan dana zakat produktif oleh beberapa oknum yang tidak sesuai dengan prinsip syariat Islam. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini difokuskan pada YBM BRILiaN di Bandar Lampung, yang menarik untuk diteliti karena sebelumnya terafiliasi dengan Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI), sebuah bank konvensional. Oleh karena itu rumusan masalah penelitian ini ialah bagaimana peran YBM BRILiaN Bandar Lampung melalui zakat produktif pada pemberdayaan ekonomi musthik dan bagaimana program pemberdayaan ekonomi mustahik dalam prespektif ekonomi islam. Dengan tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui bagaimana peran YBM BRILiaN Bandar Lampung melalui zakat produktif pada pemberdayaan ekonomi dalam prespektif ekonomi islam. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian secara kualitatif, metode kualitatif termasuk kedalam penelitian lapangan (field research). Sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu seorang staff yang memahami pengelolaan dana zakat produktif YBM BRILiaN Bandar Lampung dan 10 mustahik yang mendapat manfaat dari pendistribusian dana zakat produktif. Sumber data pada penelitian ini terdapat 2 sumber yaitu data primer dan data skunder yang diperoleh dari observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Metode pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan teknik analisis data dengan cara reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa YBM BRILiaN Regional Office Bandar Lampung telah berperan psitif dalam pemberdayaan ekonomi mustahik melalui program zakat produktif. Dengan memberikan manfaat berupa modal usaha dan bantuan gerobak usaha, program ini tidak hanya meningkatkan pendapatan harian mustahik, tetapi juga merangsang pertumbuhan keterampilan dan kualitas usaha mikro. Pendekatan menyeluruh YBM BRILiaN yang mencakup bantuan finansial, pelatihan, bimbingan, dan dukungan modal menciptakan dampak positif pada tingkat individu dan komunitas, mencerminkan keberhasilan program dalam mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi yang berkelanjutan. Program ini juga mencerminkan penerapan prinsip-prinsip ekonomi Islam, seperti tauhid, adl', ta'awun, dan produktivitas kerja, yang memberikan landasan kuat untuk pemberdayaan ekonomi yang berdaya guna dan berkelanjutan. Kata Kunci: Zakat Produktif, Pemberdayaan Ekonomi, Prinsip Ekonomi Islam. ABSTRACT Productive zakat plays an important role in empowering the mustahik economy. However, there is still management of productive za�kat funds by several individuals who are not in accordance with the prin�ciples of Islamic law. Therefore, this research focuses on YBM BRILiaN in Bandar Lampung, which is interesting to research because it was pre�viously affiliated with Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI), a conventional bank. Therefore, the formulation of this research problem is what is the role of YBM BRILiaN Bandar Lampung through productive zakat in musthik economic empowerment and what is the mustahik economic empower�ment program from an Islamic economic perspective. The aim of this re�search is to find out the role of YBM BRILiaN Bandar Lampung through productive zakat in economic empowerment from an Islamic economic perspective. This research uses a qualitative research approach, qualitative methods are included in field research. The sample in this research is a staff who understands the management of YBM BRILiaN Bandar Lam�pung's productive zakat funds and 10 mustahik who benefit from the dis�tribution of productive zakat funds. There are 2 sources of data in this research, namely primary data and secondary data obtained from obser�vation, interviews and documentation. Data collection methods in this research used observation, interview and documentation techniques. Meanwhile, data analysis techniques involve data reduction, data presen�tation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this research indicate that YBM BRILiaN Regional Office in Bandar Lampung has played a positive role in the economic empowerment of mustahik through the productive zakat program. By providing benefits in the form of business capital and assistance with business carts, this program not only increases the daily income of mus�tahik but also stimulates the growth of skills and the quality of micro�businesses. YBM BRILiaN's comprehensive approach, which includes financial aid, training, guidance, and capital support, creates a positive impact at both the individual and community levels, reflecting the success of the program in promoting sustainable economic growth. This program also demonstrates the application of Islamic economic principles, such as tauhid, adl' (justice), ta'awun (cooperation), and work productivity, providing a strong foundation for useful and sustainable economic em�powerment.
