Abstract

ABSTRAK Kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis dan koneksi matematis dalam pembelajaran matematika merupakan suatu kemampuan yang perlu di kuasi oleh setiap peserta didik guna menunjang dalam proses belajar dan menyelesaikan berbagai permasalahan matematika. Berdasarkan data yang dilihat dari hasil pra penelitian bahwa masih rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis dan koneksi matematis peserta didik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Cycle 7E terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis dan koneksi matematis peserta didik. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan quasi eksperimen design. Populasi pada penelitian ini yaitu seluruh peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Negeri 19 Pesawaran, teknik pengambilan sampel dengan teknik acak kelas atau cluster random sampling. Sampel yang diperoleh yaitu kelas VIII-A sebagai kelas eksperimen dengan perlakuan model pembelajaran Cycle 7E, dan kelas VIII-B dengan perlakuan model direct intruction. Analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu uji MANOVA. Hasil analisis dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Cycle 7E terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis dan koneksi matematis peserta didik. Kata Kunci : Model pembelajaran Cycle 7E, berpikir kreatif matematis dan koneksi matematis. iv ABSTRACT The ability to think creatively mathematically and mathematical connections in learning mathematics is an ability that needs to be mastered by every student to support the learning process and solve various mathematical problems. Based on the data seen from the pre�research results, it is clear that students' mathematical creative thinking abilities and mathematical connections are still low. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of the Cycle 7E learning model on students' mathematical creative thinking abilities and mathematical connections. This type of research uses a quasi experimental design. The population in this study was all students in class VIII of SMP Negeri 19 Pesawaran, the sampling technique was class random or cluster random sampling. The samples obtained were class VIII-A as an experimental class with the Cycle 7E learning model treatment, and class VIII-B with the direct instruction model treatment. The analysis used in this research is the MANOVA test. The results of the analysis can be concluded that there is an influence of the Cycle 7E learning model on students' mathematical creative thinking abilities and mathematical connections.
