Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilakukan pada kelas V MIN 4 Bandar Lampung yang dilatar belakangi oleh kurangnya pemahaman konsep pada mata pelajaran IPA yang masih tergolong rendah, hal ini terlihat dari hasil nilai belajar IPA yang peneliti lihat, dimana persentase peserta didik yang memperoleh nilai diatas kkm sebesar 38,5% dan siswa yang memperoleh nilai dibawah kkm sebesar 68,5%. Rumusan masalah pada penelitian ini yaitu Apakah terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning berbantuan media papan puzzle terhadap pemahaman konsep IPA peserta didik di kelas V MIN 4 Bandar Lampung. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran PBL berbantuan media papan puzzle terhadap pemahaman konsep IPA peserta didik di kelas V MIN 4 Bandar Lampung. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian Quasy Experiment. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas V MIN 4 Bandar Lampung. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V A dan V B di MIN 4 Bandar Lampung. Teknik Pengambilan Sampel yang digunakan adalah Cluster Sampling yaitu teknik pengambilan sampel yang dilakukan secara berkelompok dan dilakukan pada area atau kelompok tertentu dengan semua anggota dari setiap kelompok dipilih menjadi anggota sampel. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas V A sebagai kelas Eksperimen dan V B sebagai kelas Kontrol. Instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen tes. Data penelitian dianalisis menggunakan uji prasyarat dan uji hipotesis uji-t (Independent sample t test). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan perhitungan uji t-test, dengan menggunakan MS Excel diperoleh t hitung sebesar 4,260 dan dibandingkan dengan nilai t tabel sebesar 1,674 dengan tarif signifikan 5%. Dan hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa t hitung > t tabel , sehingga H1 diterima dan H0 ditolak . Hal menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran problem based learning berbantuan media papan puzzle terhadap pemahaman konsep IPA kelas V MIN 4 Bandar Lampung. Kata Kunci : Model Pembelajaran Problem Based Learning, Media Puzzle dan Pemahaman Konsep. iii ABSTRACT This research was carried out in class V MIN 4 Bandar Lampung which was motivated by a lack of conceptual understanding in science subjects which was still relatively low. This can be seen from the results of the science learning scores that the researchers saw, where the percentage of students who got a score above the kkm was 38. 5% and students who scored below kkm were 68.5%. The formulation of the problem in this research is whether there is an influence of the Problem Based Learning learning model assisted by puzzle board media on students' understanding of science concepts in class V MIN 4 Bandar Lampung. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of the PBL learning model assisted by puzzle board media on students' understanding of science concepts in class V MIN 4 Bandar Lampung. This research uses the Quasy Experiment type of research. The population in this study were all students of class V MIN 4 Bandar Lampung. The sample in this research were students of classes V A and V B at MIN 4 Bandar Lampung. The sampling technique used is Cluster Sampling, which is a sampling technique carried out in groups and carried out in certain areas or groups with all members of each group selected to be sample members. The samples in this study were class V A as the Experiment class and V B as the Control class. This research instrument uses a test instrument. Research data was analyzed using prerequisite tests and hypothesis testing t-test (Independent sample t test). Based on the research results and t-test calculations, using MS Excel, the t count was 4.260 and compared with the t table value of 1.674 with a significant rate of 5%. And these results show that t count > t table, so H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected. This shows that there is an influence of the problem based learning model assisted by puzzle board media on the understanding of science concepts for class V MIN 4 Bandar Lampung.
