Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan Higher Order Thinking Skill pada mata Pelajaran IPA kelas V yang ada di MIN 5 Bandar Lampug. Dalam mengukur kemampuan Higher Order Thinking Skill peneliti menggunakan tes yang berbentuk soal pilihan ganda. Penelitian ini untuk melihat profil kemampuan Higher Order Thinking Skill kelas V MIN 5 Bandar Lampung. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis peneliitian deskriptif. Penelitian ini menggunakan hanya satu kelas. Pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan sampel jenuh. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan satu kelas yaitu kelas VA. Berdasarkan pada hasil akhir penelitian yang peneliti dapatkan yaitu kemampuan Higher Order Thinking Skill pada kelas V A MIN 5 Bandar Lampung bahwa kemampaun siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal tes dengan level kongnitif C4 (Menganalisis) dengan hasil presentase 77%, untuk hasil pada level kongnitif C5 (Mengevaluasi) dengan hasil presentase 60%, dan untuk level kongnitif C6 (Menciptakan) dengan perolehan presentase paling rendah yaitu 48%. Berdasarkan pada penelitian tersebut maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan Higher Order Thinking Skill untuk level kongnitif C4 sudah cukup baik dan untuk level kongnitif C5-C6 masih terbilang rendah yang telah peneliti buktikan menggunakan soal tes. In measuring Higher Order Thinking Skills, researchers used a test in the form of multiple choice questions. This research is to look at the Higher Order Thinking Skill ability profile of class V MIN 5 Bandar Lampung. This research is a type of descriptive research. This research uses only one class. Sampling in this study used saturated samples. In this study, one class was used, namely the VA class. Based on the final results of the research that the researchers obtained, namely the ability of Higher Order Thinking Skill in class V A MIN 5 Bandar Lampung, the students' ability to solve test questions at cognitive level C4 (Analyzing) with a percentage result of 77%, for results at cognitive level C5 (Evaluating) with a percentage result of 60%, and for cognitive level C6 (Creating) with the lowest percentage result, namely 48%. Based on this research, it can be concluded that the Higher Order Thinking Skill ability for the C4 cognitive level is quite good and for the C5-C6 cognitive level it is still relatively low, which researchers have proven using test questions.
