Abstract

ABSTRAK PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN RESOURCE BASED LEARNING BERBASIS NILAI – NILAI KEISLAMAN TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN LITERASI SAINS PADA MATA PELAJARAN IPA DI SMP Oleh APRILLIA TIANG HIDAYAT Di Indonesia kemampuan literasi sains masih terbilang rendah. Kata Kunci: Resource Based Learning; Kemampuan Literasi Sains. iv ABSTRACT THE INFLUENCE OF ISLAMIC VALUES-BASED RESOURCE LEARNING MODELS ON SCIENTIFIC LITERACY CAPABILITY IN SCIENCE SUBJECTS IN JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOLS By APRILLIA TIANG HIDAYAT In Indonesia, scientific literacy skills are still relatively low. The PISA score obtained is still at 71 out of 78. This shows that scientific literacy abilities are still far from good. Likewise, the scientific literacy skills of students at SMP N 1 Sungkai Barat. This research aims to determine the use of the Resource Based Learning (RBL) learning model based on Islamic values on scientific literacy abilities. class VII students in science subjects. This research is a Quasi Experimental Design type Nonequivalent Control Group Design with the Posttest Only method. The instrument used in the research was test questions in the form of descriptions according to scientific literacy indicators. Hypothesis testing was carried out using the one sample T-Test method. The research was conducted in an experimental class with a total of 24 students and a control class of 26. The results of this research showed that scientific literacy skills with an average score for the experimental class were 78.61 while the control class was only 60.38. Apart from that, the minimum score obtained by the experimental class was 63.33 while the control class was only 50.00. Apart from that, the maximum score obtained by the experimental class reached 90.00 while the control class was only 73.33. Thus, the use of an RBL model based on Islamic values can improve scientific literacy skills. Keywords: Resource Based Learning; Scientific Literacy Ability.
