Abstract

ABSTRAK PENGARUH PENDEKATAN SCIENCE WRITING HEURISTIC TERHADAP PENINGKATAN KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KREATIF DAN KEMANDIRIAN BELAJAR PESERTA DIDIK KELAS XI MATA PELAJARAN BIOLOGI Oleh SYIFA ROSFA NABILAH Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini merupakan rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan kemandirian belajar peserta didik di SMAN 2 Kotabumi. Mengingat pentingnya kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan kemandirian belajar untuk dimiliki di era ini maka penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendekatan Science Writing Heuristic terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan kemandirian belajar peserta didik kelas XI pada mata pelajaran biologi di SMA Negeri 2 Kotabumi. Penelitian dilakukan untuk melihat sejauh mana peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan kemandirian belajar peserta didik kelas XI pada pembelajaran biologi setelah dilakukan pembelajaran dengan pendekatan Science Writing Heuristic. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data berupa tes dan non tes. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode tes awal dan tes akhir sehingga diperoleh nilai N-Gain. Kemudain, data diuji normalitas dan homogenitasnya sehingga dapat dilakukan uji hipotesis dengan jenis Independent Sample T Test. Penelitian dilakukan di SMA N 2 Kotabumi pada kelas XI yang dipilih dengan cluster random sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukan terdapat pengaruh dari penggunaan pendekatan Science Writing Heuristic terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik dengan skor N-Gain 0,63 untuk kelas eksperimen dan 0,28 untuk kelas kontrol. Selain itu, terdapat pengaruh dari penggunaan pendekatan Science Writing Heuristic terhadap kemandirian belajar peserta didik dengan nilai N-Gain 0,53 untuk kelas eksperimen dan 0,30 untuk kelas kontrol. Dengan demikian, pendekatan Science Writing Heuristic berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan kemandirian belajar peserta didik kelas XI pada mata pelajaran biologi di SMA Negeri 2 Kotabumi. Considering the importance of having creative thinking skills and learning independence in this era, the research aims to determine the influence of the Science Writing Heuristic approach on the creative thinking abilities and learning independence of class XI students in biology subjects at SMA Negeri 2 Kotabumi. The research was conducted to see the extent to which the creative thinking abilities and learning independence of class XI students in biology learning had increased after learning using the Science Writing Heuristic approach. This research is quantitative research and uses data collection techniques in the form of tests and non-tests. The research was carried out using the initial test and final test methods to obtain the N-Gain value. Then, the data is tested for normality and homogeneity so that hypothesis testing can be carried out using the Independent Sample T Test. The research was conducted at SMA N 2 Kotabumi in class XI which was selected using cluster random sampling. The research results show that there is an influence from using the Science Writing Heuristic approach on students' creative thinking abilities with an N-Gain score of 0.63 for the experimental class and 0.28 for the control class. Apart from that, there is an influence of using the Science Writing Heuristic approach on students' learning independence with an N-Gain value of 0.53 for the experimental class and 0.30 for the control class. Thus, the Science Writing Heuristic approach influences the creative thinking abilities and learning independence of class XI students in biology subjects at SMA Negeri 2 Kotabumi.
