Abstract

ABSTRAK Kegiatan ekstrakurikuler kepramukaan merupakan kegiatan wajib pada pendidikan sekolah dasar. Kegiatan tersebut untuk membentuk siswa-siswi yang berbeda seperti pada sikap, moral yang berbeda, nilai kemampuan, dan kreativitas. Life skill merupakan suatu kata yang bermakna kecakapan hidup yang artinya bahwa suatu pendidikan yang dilaksanakan itu mampu menyiapkan pembekalan tentang teori dan praktek kecakapan yang dimiliki oleh peserta didik untuk mau dan berani menghadapi problema hidup dan kehidupan secara wajar tanpa merasa tertekan, kemudian secara proaktif, kreatif, dan inovatif mencari, menemukan solusi sehingga mampu mengatasinya. Dengan adanya kecakapan hidup dipramuka peserta didik dapat diprediksikan memiliki kecakapan hidup yang tinggi dan menyesuaikan diri dalam lingkungan manapun terhadap masyarakat dan lingkungan sekolah ataupun luar sekolah, namun ada beberapa peserta didik yang masih minim untuk mempraktikannya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Masalah yang melatarbelakangi penelitian ini adalah sebagian siswa tidak aktif dalam kegiatan kepramukaan dan masih adanya siswa yang belum memahami pentingnya memiliki kecakapan hidup. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara kegiatan ekstrakurikuler kepramukaan dengan perkembangan life skill dan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar hubungan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler kepramukaan dengan perkembangan life skill peserta didik di MIN 7 Bandar Lampung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di MIN 7 Bandar Lampung dengan sampel 37 peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan angket dengan model skala likert. Teknik analisis data dalam menguji hipotesis penelitian ini adalah rumus korelasi product moment. Hasi penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara kegiatan ekstrakurikuler kepramukaan dengan perkembangan life skill peserta didik di MIN 7 Bandar Lampung. Hal ini dibuktikan dari nilai koefisien korelasi product iii moment sebesar 0,521 dengan nilai signifikansi 0,001, yang artinya semakin aktif peserta didik mengikuti kegiatan kepramukaan maka semakin tinggi perkembangan life skill yang dimiliki peserta didik. Begitupun sebaliknya. Besarnya kontribusi ekstrakurikuler kepramukaan terhadap life skill adalah sebesar 27,14%, sedangkan sisanya sebesar 72,86% dipengaruhi faktor lain. Kata kunci: Ekstrakurikuler Kepramukaan, Life Skill. iv ABSTRACT Scouting extracurricular activities are mandatory activities in elementary school education. This activity is to form students who are different in terms of attitudes, different morals, ability values, and creativity. Life skills is a word that means life skills, which means that the education that is carried out is able to provide provisions regarding the theory and practice of skills possessed by students to be willing and brave to face life and living problems naturally without feeling pressured, then proactively, creatively. , and innovatively looking for, finding solutions so that they are able to overcome them. With the existence of life skills in scouting, students can be predicted to have high life skills and adapt to any environment in society and the school or outside school environment, however there are some students who are still minimal in practicing them in their daily lives. The problem behind this research is that some students are not active in scouting activities and there are still students who do not understand the importance of having life skills. The aim of this research is to find out the positive and significant relationship between scouting extracurricular activities and the development of life skills and to find out how big the relationship between scouting extracurricular activities is and the development of students' life skills at MIN 7 Bandar Lampung. The research method used is quantitative. This research was conducted at MIN 7 Bandar Lampung with a sample of 37 students. The data collection technique in this research uses a questionnaire with a Likert scale model. The data analysis technique for testing this research hypothesis is the product moment correlation formula. The results of the research show that there is a positive and significant relationship between scouting extracurricular activities and the development of students' life skills at MIN 7 Bandar Lampung. This is proven by the product moment correlation coefficient value of 0.521 with a significance value of 0.001, which means that the more actively students participate in scouting activities, the higher the development of life skills that students have.
