Abstract

ABSTRAK Berdasarkan pada hasil pra penelitian yang dilaksanakan di kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Semaka, dimana untuk kemampuan representasi matematis dari 192 peserta didik yang memperoleh nilai diatas rata-rata hanya 30 peserta didik dan untuk kemampuan komunikasi matematis dari 192 peserta didik hanya terdapat 28 peserta didik yang mendapat nilai diatas rata-rata. Oleh karena itu penulis tertarik untuk menerapkan model pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan representasi dan komunikasi matematis. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran MURDER berbantuan Powtoon Video Animasi terhadap kemampuan representasi dan komunikasi matematis. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Quasy Experimental Design dengan metode kuantitatif. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu uji normalitas dan homogenitas. Uji hipotesis menggunakan Uji Multivariate Analysis Of Variance (MANOVA). Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik acak kelas dengan kelas VIII A sebagai kelas eksperimen 1, kelas VIII B sebagai kelas eksperimen 2, dan kelas VIII C sebagai kelas kontrol. Hasil penelitian ini disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh antara model pembelajaran MURDER berbantuan Powtoon Video Animasi, model pembelajaran MURDER, dan model pembelajaran ekspositori terhadap kemampuan representasi matematis. Terdapat pengaruh antara model pembelajaran MURDER berbantuan Powtoon Video Animasi, model pembelajaran MURDER, dan model pembelajaran ekspositori terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis. Terdapat pengaruh antara model pembelajaran MURDER berbantuan Powtoon Video Animasi, model pembelajaran MURDER, dan model pembelajaran ekspositori terhadap kemampuan representasi dan komunikasi matematis. This type of research is Quasy Experimental Design with quantitative methods. The data analysis techniques used are normality and homogeneity tests. Hypothesis testing uses the Multivariate Analysis of Variance (MANOVA) Test. The sampling technique used a random class technique with class VIII A as experimental class 1, class VIII B as experimental class 2, and class VIII C as the control class. The results of this research concluded that there was an influence between the MURDER learning model assisted by Powtoon Video Animation, the MURDER learning model, and the expository learning model on mathematical representation abilities. There is an influence between the MURDER learning model assisted by Powtoon Video Animation, the MURDER learning model, and the expository learning model on mathematical communication skills. There is an influence between the MURDER learning model assisted by Powtoon Video Animation, the MURDER learning model, and the expository learning model on mathematical representation and communication skills.
