Abstract

ABSTRAK Permasalahan yang ditemukan di sekolah SMPN 36 Bandar Lampung dimana kemampuan pemecahan masalah peserta didik masih tergolong rendah dan bahan ajar yang digunakan masih terbatas, tujuan penelitian ini untuk menghasilkan produk yang dikembangakan yaitu E�Comic berbasis Problem Based Learning (PBL) untuk mengetahui bagaimana cara pengembangannya, bagaimana kelayakan produk, dan bagaimana keefektivitasan produk untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berfikir kritis peserta didik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah R&D (Research And Development) dengan model Pengembangan Borg And Gall dengan sepuluh tahap pengembangan meliputi: 1) pengumpulan informasi, 2) melakukan perencanaan, 3) desain produk awal, 4) validasi desain, 5) revisi desain, 6) uji coba produk, 7) revisi uji coba produk, 8) uji coba lapangan, 9) revisi produk akhir, dan 10) implementasi produk akhir. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa pengembangan media pembelajaran E-Comic berbasis Problem Based Learning (PBL) terhadap kemampuan berfikir kritis peserta didik dinyatakan “Sangat Layak” dilihat dari presentase ahli media 93.33%, presentase ahli materi 84.44%, dan presentase ahli bahasa 89% dengan kriteria sangat layak. Serta penilaian dari peserta didik berdasarkan indikator soal yang digunakan yaitu indikator mengingat (C1) diperoleh nilai rata-rata 80%, memahami (C2) 100%, kemampuan mengaplikasikan (C3) 90%, dan kemampuan menganalisis (C4) 70% dengan kriteria interpretasi yang dicapai secara keseluruhan yaitu tinggi. Hasil uji efektifitas dilihat dari uji N-Gain yang di normalisasi pada uji kelas kontrol diperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 0.68 dengan kategori sedang, sedangkan hasil dari kelas eksperimen diperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 0.87 dengan kategori tinggi. The aim of this research is to produce a product that is being developed, namely E-Comic based on Problem Based Learning (PBL) to find out how to develop it. , how appropriate the product is, and how effective the product is in improving students' critical thinking abilities. The research method used in this research is R&D (Research And Development) with the Borg and Gall Development model with ten development stages including: 1) gathering information, 2) planning, 3) initial product design, 4) design validation, 5) revision design, 6) product trials, 7) product trial revisions, 8) field trials, 9) final product revisions, and 10) final product implementation. Based on the research results, it was found that the development of E-Comic learning media based on Problem Based Learning (PBL) for students' critical thinking abilities was declared "Very Feasible" seen from the percentage of media experts of 93.33%, the percentage of material experts of 84.44%, and the percentage of language experts of 89% with Very feasible criteria. As well as assessments from students based on the question indicators used, namely the remembering indicator (C1) obtained an average score of 80%, understanding (C2) 100%, ability to apply (C3) 90%, and ability to analyze (C4) 70% with interpretation criteria. The overall achievement is high. The effectiveness test results seen from the N-Gain test which were normalized in the control class test obtained an average value of 0.68 in the medium category, while the results from the experimental class obtained an average value of 0.87 in the high category.
