Abstract

ABSTRAK Kemampuan representasi dalam pembelajaran matematika merupakan suatu hal yang harus dimiliki setiap peserta didik. Berdasarkan hasil pra penelitian yang dilakukan di MTs Al-Muhajirin Panjang, menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan representasi peserta didik masih rendah. Rendahnya kemampuan representasi disebabkan karena kurang tepatnya model pembelajaran yang membuat peserta didik kurang aktif selama proses pembelajaran. Penerapan model pembelajaran DMR diharapkan dapat memperbaiki masalah tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengatahui (1) pengaruh model pembelajaran DMR terhadap kemampun representasi, (2) pengaruh antara peserta didik dengan disposisi matematis tinggi, sedang, dan rendah terhadap kemampuan representasi, (3) interaksi antara model pembelajaran DMR dan disposisi matematis peserta didik terhadap kemampuan representasi. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian Quasy Experimental. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VII MTs Al�Muhajirin Panjang. Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 2 kelas yang dipilih dengan teknik acak kelas, yaitu kelas VII 4 sebagai kelas eksperimen dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran DMR dan kelas VII 4 sebagai kelas kontrol dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan anova dua arah sel tak sama dengan taraf signifikan 5%. Berdasarkan hasil uji anova dua arah sel tak sama diperoleh kesimpulan: (1) terdapat perbedaan model pembelajaran DMR terhadap kemampuan representasi, (2) tidak terdapat perbedaan siswa dengan disposisi matematis tinggi, sedang, rendah terhadap kemampuan representasi, (3) tidak terdapat interaksi antara model pembelajaran DMR dan disposisi matematis peserta didik terhadap kemampuan representasi. Based on the results of pre�research conducted at MTs Al-Muhajirin Panjang, it shows that students' representation abilities are still low. The low representation ability is caused by the lack of precise learning models which make students less active during the learning process. It is hoped that the application of the DMR learning model can improve this problem. The aim of this research is to find out (1) the influence of the DMR learning model on representation abilities, (2) the influence between students with high, medium and low mathematical dispositions on representation abilities, (3) the interaction between the DMR learning model and students' mathematical dispositions. on representational abilities. This research is a type of Quasi Experimental research. The population in this study were class VII students at MTs Al-Muhajirin Panjang. The samples used were 2 classes selected using random class techniques, namely class VII 4 as the experimental class using the DMR learning model and class VII 4 as the control class using the conventional learning model. Hypothesis testing uses two-way unequal cell ANOVA with a significance level of 5%. Based on the results of the two-way unequal cell ANOVA test, the conclusions were obtained: (1) there are differences in the DMR learning model on representation ability, (2) there are no differences between students with high, medium and low mathematical dispositions on representation ability, (3) there is no interaction between DMR learning model and students' mathematical disposition towards representation abilities.
