Abstract

ABSTRAK Kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis adalah suatu proses berpikir untuk meyelesaikan suatu masalah dimana suatu masalah harus dianalisis, diidentifikasi, dikaitkan dengan konsep lain, selanjutnya dievaluasi sebelum dibuat suatu kesimpulan untuk penyelesaian masalah yang dihadapi. Berdasarkan pra penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis peserta didik di SMP Negeri 6 Mesuji Makmur masih rendah. Penyebab rendah kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis disebabkan karena kurang tepatnya penggunaan model pembelajaran yang membuat peserta didik kurang aktif selama proses pembelajaran, sehingga dibutuhkan inovasi baru dalam pembelajaran matematika untuk mengembangkan kemampuan tersebut.Penerapan Model Contextual Teaching And Learning (CTL) Menggunakan Aplikasi Youtube Terhadap Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Matematis Peserta Didik diharapkan dapat memperbaiki masalah tersebut. Jenis penelitian Quasi Eksperiment Desain dengan jenis Posttest Only Control Design. Populasi pada penelitian ini yaitu seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP NEGERI 6 Mesuji Makmur. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 85 peserta didik dengan rincian 30 peserta didik di kelas VII A sebagai kelas eksperimen 1, 27 peserta didik dikelas VII C sebagai eksperimen 2 dan dari 28 peserta didik kelas VII B sebagai kelas kontrol. Pengujian hipotesisi menggunakan uji hipotesis Anova Satu Jalur, diperoleh hasil dan dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran CTL menggunakan Aplikasi Youtube hadap kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis peserta didik. Model pembelajaran CTL menggunakan Aplikasi Youtube lebih baik jika dibandingkan dengan model pembelajaran CTL, dan model pembelajaran konvensional dalam memberikan pengaruh terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis matematispeserta didik. iii ABSTRACT Mathematical critical thinking ability is a thinking process to solve a problem where a problem must be analyzed, identified, linked to other concepts, then evaluated before a conclusion is made to solve the problem at hand. Based on pre-research, it shows that students' mathematical critical thinking abilities at SMP Negeri 6 Mesuji Makmur are still low. The cause of low critical mathematical thinking skills is due to the inappropriate use of learning models which makes students less active during the learning process, so new innovations are needed in mathematics learning to develop these abilities. Application of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) Model Using Google Classroom on Thinking Ability Students' Mathematical Criticality is expected to be able to fix these problems. This type of research is Quasi Experimental Design with Posttest Only Control Design type. The population in this study were all class VII students of SMP NEGERI 6 Mesuji Makmur. The number of samples in this study was 85 students, with details of 30 students in class VII A as experimental class 1, 27 students in class VII C as experiment 2 and 28 students in class VII B as control class. Hypothesis testing uses the One Way Anova hypothesis test, the results obtained are and it can be concluded that there is an influence of the CTL learning model using Google Classroom on students' mathematical critical thinking abilities. The CTL learning model using Google Classroom is better when compared to the CTL learning model and conventional learning models in influencing students' mathematical critical thinking abilities.
