Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilakukan pada kelas V SDN 2 Gunung Sulah Bandar Lampung yang di latar belakangi oleh kurangnya pemahaman konsep peserta didik pada mata pelajaran IPS yang masih tergolong rendah, hal ini terlihat dari hasil nilai ulangan harian pada mata pelajaran IPS peserta didik, dimana persentase siswa yang memperoleh nilai diatas KKM sebesar 41,81% dan siswa yang memperoleh nilai dibawah KKM sebesar 58,18%. Rumusan masalah pada penelitian ini yaitu Apakah Ada Pengaruh Metode Pembelajaran PQ4R Tehadap Pemahaman Konsep IPS Peserta Didik Kelas V SDN Gunung Sulah Bandar Lampung. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode pembelajran PQ4R terhadap pemahaman konsep IPS peserta didik. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian eksperimen (Quasy Eksperimen Design). Bentuk Quasy Eksperimen yang digunakan adalah The nonrandomized control group Pretest-posttest design. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas V SDN 2 Gunung Sulah Bandar Lampung. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan yaitu sampel jenuh. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas V yang terdiri dari kelas V A dan V B. Kelas V A sebagai kelas kontrol dan kelas V B sebagai kelas eksperimen. Instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan instrument tes berupa soal essay berjumlah 15 soal. Data penelitian ini dianalisis menggunakan uji prasyarat dan uji hipotesis uji-t (Independent sample t test). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan perhitungan didapatkan hasil uji hipotesis menggunakan uji-t, Uji SPSS versi 26 for windows mendapatkan nilai sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000. Nilai sig. (2-tailed) ini lebih kecil dari 0,05 (5%), dalam hal ini, artinya Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah adanya pengaruh metode pembelajaran Preview, Question, Read, Reflect, Recite, Review (PQ4R) terhadap pemahaman konsep IPS peserta didik kelas V SDN 2 Gunung Sulah Bandar Lampung. Kata kunci : Metode Pembelajaran Preview, Question, Read, Reflect, Recite, Review (PQ4R), Pemahaman Konsep, IPS. iv ABSTRACK This research was conducted in class V of SDN 2 Gunung Sulah Bandar Lampung which was motivated by the lack of understanding of students' concepts in Social Sciences subjects which was still relatively low, this can be seen from the results of students' daily test scores in Social Sciences subjects, where the percentage of students who got a score above the kkm was 41.81% and students who got a score below the kkm was 58.18%. The formulation of the problem in this research is whether there is an influence of the PQ4R learning method on the understanding of social science concepts of class V students at SDN Gunung Sulah Bandar Lampung. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of the PQ4R learning method on students' understanding of Social Science concepts. The type of research used is experimental research (Quasy Experiment Design). The Quasy Experiment form used is the nonrandomized control group Pretest-posttest design. The population in this study were all class V students at SDN 2 Gunung Sulah Bandar Lampung. The sampling technique used was a saturated sample. The sample in this study was all class V consisting of classes V A and V B. Class V A was the control class and class V B was the experimental class. This research instrument uses a test instrument in the form of fifteen essay questions. This research data was analyzed using prerequisite tests and hypothesis testing t-test (Independent sample t test). Based on the results of research and calculations, the results of hypothesis testing using the t test were obtained, the SPSS version 26 for Windows test obtained a sig value. (2-tailed) of 0.000. Sig value. (2-tailed) is smaller than 0.05 (5%), in this case, meaning Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. The conclusion of this research is that there is an influence of the Preview, Question, Read, Reflect, Recite, Review (PQ4R) learning method on the understanding of social studies concepts of class V students at SDN 2 Gunung Sulah Bandar Lampung.
