Abstract

ABSTRAK Dewasa ini terutama di Indonesia kasus bullying atau perundungan yang terjadi di lingkungan pendidikan sangat memperihatinkan. Salah satu jenis bullying yang paling mudah dilakukan adalah bullying berupa verbal, bullying ini bisa menjadi awal terjadinya tindakan bullying lainnya. Dilatar belakangi oleh fenomena tersebut, maka penulis melakukan penelitian yang berjudul “Pengaruh Konseling Kelompok dengan Teknik Cognitive Behavior Therapy Terhadap Perilaku Bullying Verbal pada Peserta Didik Kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Bangunrejo Kabupaten Lampung Tengah Tahun Pelajaran 2023/2024”. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh konseling kelompok dengan teknik cognitive behavior therapy terhadap pengurangan perilaku bullying verbal pada peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Bangunrejo. Pendekatan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif yang menggunakan pre-experimental design dengan jenis one group pretest and posttest design. Pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purposive sampling yaitu peserta didik kelas VIII G di SMP Negeri 2 Bangunrejo yang berjumlah 6 peserta didik, terdiri dari 4 siswa dan 2 siswi. Setelah peneliti melakukan pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji-t Paired Samples Test, diperoleh t hitung sebesar 14.480. Dengan df sebesar 5, maka diperoleh t tabel sebesar 2.015 pada taraf signifikansi 0,05. Sehingga diketahui bahwa t hitung > t tabel yaitu 14.480 > 2.015. Berdasarkan perhitungan uji-t tersebut dinyatakan bahwa t hitung > t tabel, maka hipotesis nihil (H0) ditolak dan hipotesis alternatif (Ha) diterima. Artinya terdapat pengaruh konseling kelompok dengan teknik cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) secara signifikan terhadap pengurangan perilaku bullying verbal peserta didik kelas VIII G SMP Negeri 2 Bangunrejo Kabupaten Lampung Tengah tahun pelajaran 2023/2024. Based on this phenomenon, the author conducted research entitled "The Effect of Group Counseling with Cognitive Behavior Therapy Techniques on Verbal Bullying Behavior in Class VIII Students of SMP Negeri 2 Bangunrejo, Central Lampung Regency, Academic Year 2023/2024". The aim of this research is to determine the effect of group counseling using cognitive behavior therapy techniques on reducing verbal bullying behavior in class VIII students at SMP Negeri 2 Bangunrejo. The approach in this research is a quantitative approach that uses a pre-experimental design with a one group pretest and posttest design. Sampling in this study used a purposive sampling technique, namely students in class VIII G at SMP Negeri 2 Bangunrejo, totaling 6 students, consisting of 4 students and 2 female students. After the researcher tested the hypothesis using the Paired Samples t-test, the t count was 14,480. With a df of 5, we get a t table of 2.015 at a significance level of 0.05. So it is known that t count > t table, namely 14,480 > 2,015. Based on the t-test calculation, it is stated that t count > t table, then the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. This means that there is a significant effect of group counseling using cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) techniques on reducing verbal bullying behavior in class VIII G students at SMP Negeri 2 Bangunrejo, Central Lampung Regency for the 2023/2024 academic year.
