Abstract

ABSTRAK Komunikasi persuasif adalah suatu proses dimana seorang (komunikator) menyampaikan rangsangan untuk mempengaruhi perilaku orang lain (komunikan). Pesan yang yang disampaikan harus diterima dengan baik, supaya memberikan respon untuk mengubah kepercayaan, sikap, dan perilaku dengan mempengaruhi aspek-aspek psikologis komunikan. Penelitian ini berisi tentang komunikasi persuasif yang dilakukan oleh Pendamping Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH) dalam Family Development Session (FDS) untuk peningkatan kualitas Keluarga Penerima Manfaat (KPM) dimana diperlukan upaya untuk memperbaiki masalah sosial di masyarakat, salah satunya dengan bantuan sosial dan pendampingan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian lapangan (field research) dengan pendekatan purposive sampling. Data primer diperoleh langsung melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi dari Pendamping PKH dalam komunikasi persuasif yang dilakukan kepada Keluarga Penerima Manfaat (KPM) dan Pendamping PKH di Kelurahan Way Halim Permai. Sedangkan, data sekunder diperoleh dari dokumentasi atau arsip Dinas Sosial Kota Bandar Lampung. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori pendekatan AIDDA serta data pendukung teori lainnya dari kepustakaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan komunikasi persuasif yang dilakukan dalam penyampaian modul kesehatan dan gizi telah terlaksana dengan baik. Namun tentu saja terdapat beberapa hambatan yang memerlukan perhatian khusus. Dalam kegiatan FDS, komunikasi persuasif mengambil peran penting sebagai tolak ukur pencapaian pendamping terhadap penyampaian materi dalam modul Kesehatan dan Gizi yang disampaikan kepada KPM agar peningkatan kualitas KPM di Kelurahan Way Halim Permai dapat terealisasikan. ABSTRACT Persuasive communication is a process where a person (communicator) conveys stimuli to influence the behavior of other people (communicants). The message conveyed must be received well, so that it provides a response to change beliefs, attitudes and behavior by influencing the psychological aspects of the communicant. This research contains persuasive communication carried out by the Family Hope Program (PKH) Facilitators in the Family Development Session (FDS) to improve the quality of Beneficiary Families (KPM) where efforts are needed to improve social problems in the community, one of which is with social assistance and mentoring. This research is field research with a purposive sampling approach. Primary data was obtained directly through observation, interviews and documentation from PKH Facilitators in persuasive communications carried out to Beneficiary Families (KPM) and PKH Facilitators in Way Halim Permai Village. Meanwhile, secondary data was obtained from documentation or archives of the Bandar Lampung City Social Service. This research uses the AIDDA approach theory as well as other theoretical supporting data from the literature. The research results show that the persuasive communication carried out in delivering the health and nutrition module has been carried out well. But of course there are several obstacles that require special attention. In FDS activities, persuasive communication plays an important role as a benchmark for the companion's achievements in delivering material in the Health and Nutrition module which is delivered to KPM so that improving the quality of KPM in Way Halim Permai Subdistrict can be realized..
