Abstract

ABSTRAK Berdasarkan hasil pra penelitian di SMP Negeri 14 Bandar Lampung ditemukan bahwa kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan representarsi matematis peserta didik masih tergolong rendah. Hal ini disebabkan karena peserta didik masih banyak yang tidak aktif untuk bertanya dan menjawab. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu (1) untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran DMR berbantuan media Question Box dengan model pembelajaran DMR dan model pembelajaran ekspositori terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan representasi matematis peserta didik. (2) untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran DMR berbantuan media Question Box dengan model pembelajaran DMR dan model pembelajaran ekspositori terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah peserta didik. (3) untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran DMR berbantuan media Question Box dengan model pembelajaran DMR dan model pembelajaran ekspositori terhadap representasi matematis peserta didik. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Quasi Experimental Design. Populasi penelitian ini yaitu seluruh peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Negeri 14 Bandar Lampung. Sampel penelitian ini yaitu kelas VIII A sebagai kelas eksperimen 1 dengan perlakuan model pembelajaran DMR berbantuan media Question Box, kelas VIII B sebagai kelas eksperimen 2 dengan perlakuan model pembelajaran DMR, dan kelas VIII C sebagai kelas kontrol dengan perlakuan model pembelajaran ekspositori. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji MANOVA dengan tarafsignifikasi 0,05 diperoleh hasil H0AB ditolak. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran DMR berbantuan media Question Box terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan representasi matematis peserta didik. Kata Kunci: Model Pembelajaran DMR, Media Question Box, Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah, dan Kemampuan Representasi Matematis Peserta Didik iv ABSTRAC Based on the results of pre-research at SMP Negeri 14 Bandar Lampung, it was found that students' problem solving and mathematical representation abilities were still relatively low. This is because many students are still not active in asking and answering. The aims of this research are (1) to determine the effect of the Discourse Multy Representation (DMR) learning model assisted by Question Box media on students' problem solving and mathematical representation abilities. (2) to determine the effect of the Discourse Multy Representation (DMR) learning model assisted by Question Box media on students' problem solving abilities. (3) to determine the effect of the Discourse Multy Representation (DMR) learning model assisted by Question Box media on students' mathematical representations. This type of research is Quasi Experimental Design. The population of this study was all students in class VIII of SMP Negeri 14 Bandar Lampung. The sample for this research is class VIII A as experimental class 1 with DMR learning model treatment assisted by Question Box media, class VIII B as experimental class 2 with DMR learning model treatment, and class VIII C as control class with expository learning model treatment. The data analysis technique used was the MANOVA test with a significance level of 0.05. The result H0AB was rejected. So it can be concluded that there is an influence of the DMR learning model assisted by Question Box media on students' problem solving abilities and mathematical representation.
