Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran problem solving berpendekatan multipel representasi terhadap keterampilan proses sains pada materi perubahan lingkungan, karena masih rendahnya keterampilan proses sains peserta didik berdasarkan dari hasil pra-penelitian. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode quasi experiment dengan menggunakan desain pretest-posttest control group design. Penelitian dilakukan pada 2 kelas, yaitu kelas X3 (kelas eksperimen) dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran problem solving berpendekatan multipel representasi dan kelas X2 (kelas kontrol) dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran discovery learning. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data yang diperoleh dari uji hipotesis H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima, hasil uji independen sample t-test thitung ≤ ttabel dengan = 0,05, diperoleh hasil keterampilan proses sains 0,000 < 0,05. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil penelitian terdapat pengaruh dari model pembelajaran problem solving berpendekatan multipel representasi terhadap keterampilan proses sains. Kata Kunci :Keterampilan Proses Sains, Multipel Representasi, Problem Solving. ABSTRACT This research aims to determine the effect of a problem solving learning model using a multiple representation approach on science process skills in environmental change material, because students' science process skills are still low based on pre-research results. The research method used in this research is quantitative research with a quasi-experiment method using a pretest-posttest control group design. This research was carried out in 2 classes, namely class X3 (experimental class) by applying a problem solving learning model using a multiple representation approach and class X2 (control class) by applying the discovery learning model. Based on the results of data analysis obtained from the hypothesis test H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted, the results of the independent sample t-test tcount ≤ ttable with α = 0.05, the science process skills results were 0.000 < 0.05. So it can be concluded that the research results show the influence of the problem solving learning model using a multiple representation approach on science process skills.
