Abstract

ABSTRAK Kemampuan generalisasi matematis dan disposisi matematis peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Kebun Tebu tergolong kategori rendah dimana peserta didik masih mendapatkan nilai di bawah standar penilaian, dari 108 peserta didik yang mencapai nilai KKM hanya sebanyak 24 peserta didik. Penulis tertarik untuk menerapkan model pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan generalisasi matematis dan disposisi matematis peserta didik. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Value Clarification Technique terhadap kemampuan generalisasi matematis dan disposisi matematis peserta didik. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Quasi Eksperiment Design dengan sampel penelitian peserta didik kelas VIII C, dan VIII D SMP Negeri 1 Kebun Tebu. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang adalah teknik cluster sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu tes dan angket. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji normalitas dan homogenitas. Pengujian hipotesis dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji MANOVA. Berdasarkan perhitungan uji MANOVA, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Value Clarification Technique terhadap kemampuan generalisasi matematis dan disposisi matematis peserta didik. Terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Value Clarification Technique terhadap kemampuan generalisasi matematis peserta didik. Terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Value Clarification Technique terhadap disposisi matematis peserta didik. Kata kunci : Model pembelajaran value clarification technique, generalisasi matematis, disposisi matematis. iii ABSTRACT Mathematical generalization ability and mathematical disposition of students in class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Kebun Tebu are classified as low categories where students still get scores below the assessment standard. Out of 108 students who reach the minimum completion criteria, or Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimum (KKM) grades, only 24 students. The author is interested in applying a learning model that can improve students' mathematical generalization ability and mathematical disposition. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Value Clarification Technique learning model on students' mathematical generalization ability and mathematical disposition. The type of research used is a quasi-experimental design with a research sample of students in classes VIII C and VIII D at SMP Negeri 1 Kebun Tebu. The sampling technique is the cluster sampling technique. The data collection techniques in this study are tests and questionnaires. The data analysis techniques used are normality and homogeneity tests. Hypothesis testing in this study used the MANOVA test. Based on the MANOVA test calculation, it is concluded that there is an effect of the Value Clarification Technique learning model on students' mathematical generalization ability and mathematical disposition. There is an effect of the Value Clarification Technique learning model on students' mathematical generalization ability. There is an effect of the Value Clarification Technique learning model on students' mathematical disposition.
