Abstract

ABSTRAK Bank memiliki posisi sentral untuk menunjang majunya ekonomi Negara. Bank berperan dominan bagi hidup masyarakat mengingat instansi keuangan masuk dalam seluruh tingkat masyarakat. Kinerja keuangan perbankan syariah merupakan suatu gambaran tentang kondisi keuangan suatu perbankan syariah yang dianalisis dengan alat�alat analisis keuangan, sehingga dapat diketahui mengenai baik�buruknya keadaan keuangan suatu perbankan syariah yang mencerminkan prestasi kerja dalam periode tertentu. Tujuan dari penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh good corporate governance dan sharia compliance terhadap kinerja keuangan bank umum syariah periode 2014-2022. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif, populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu bank umum syariah yang terdaftar di Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK) periode 2014-2022, dengan menggunakan metode penarikan sampel purposive sampling. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah good corporate governance berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja keuangan bank umum syariah periode 2014-2022, dikarenakan setiap setiap kenaikan good corporate governance diikuti oleh kenaikan tingkat kinerja keuangan bank umum syariah, Hal tersebut dapat di indikasikan bahwa bank umum syariah di Indonesia sudah cukup memiliki kesadaran dalam melaksanakan dan mengembangkan nilai komposit dengan baik. sharia compliance tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja keuangan bank umum syariah, dikarenakan setiap kenaikan sharia compliance belum tentu diikuti oleh kenaikan tingkat kinerja keuangan. Kata Kunci: Good Corporate Governance, Sharia Compliance, Kinerja Keuangan. ABSTRACT Banks have a central position to support the progress of the country's economy. Banks play a dominant role in people's lives considering that financial institutions are included at all levels of society. The financial performance of sharia banking is a description of the financial condition of a sharia banking which is analyzed using financial analysis tools, so that it can be known about the good or bad financial condition of a sharia banking which reflects work performance in a certain period. The aim of this research is to determine the effect good corporate governance and sharia compliance on the financial performance of Islamic commercial banks for the 2014-2015 period. This research is a quantitative research. The population in this research is sharia commercial banks registered with the Financial Services Authority (OJK) for the 2014-2022 period, research data for the 2014-2022 period using the sampling methodpurposive sampling. The results of this research are good corporate governance has a significant effect on the financial performance of sharia commercial banks, due to each increasegood corporate governance followed by an increase in the level of financial performance of sharia commercial banks. This can be an indication that sharia commercial banks in Indonesia have sufficient awareness in implementing and developing composite values well.sharia compliance does not have a significant effect on the financial performance of sharia general banks, due to each increasesharia compliance not necessarily followed by an increase in the level of financial performance.
