Abstract

ABSTRAK Model pembelajaran Logan Avenue Problem solving (LAPS)-Heuristik merupakan model pembelajaran yang mampu mengajak peserta didik untuk memiliki kemampuan berpikir kritis seperti memberikan penjelasan sederhana, membangun keterampilan dasar, serta mengatur strategi dan juga membuat kesimpulan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Logan Avenue Problem solving (LAPS)-Heuristik Terhadap Keterampilan Berpikir Kritis Peserta Didik. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan September 2023 di SD Muhammadiyah 1 Bandar Lampung. Dalam penelitian ini terdapat dua sampel yaitu kelas IV Abdullah Bin Ummar sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas IV Abdullah Bin Abbas sebagai kelas kontrol. Penentuan sampel ini dilakukan berdasarkan dengan teknik Cluster Random Sampling. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi experiment dengan desain Non-equivalent control group design. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah instrumen tes berupa soal uraian. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis dengan menggunakan uji statistic parametik yaitu uji-t, memperoleh taraf signifikansi 0,05 diperoleh nilai sig (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000. Terlihat bahwa nilai sig (2-tailed)< nilai taraf signifikansi (0,05), sehingga H0 ditolak. Artinya terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan penerapan model pembelajaran Logan Avenue Problem solving (LAPS)-Heuristik terhadap keterampilan Berpikir Kritis Peserta Didik pada Mata Pelajaran IPAS.Kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik pada kelas eksperimen di mengalami peningkatan dengan memperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 76,77. Sementara Uji N-Gain terhadap ke efektifan penerapan model pembelajaran Logan Avenue Problem solving (LAPS)-Heuristik berada pada kategori sedang dengan perolehan nilai sebesar 0,44. Kata Kunci : Model Pembelajaran Logan Aveneu Problem Solving (LAPS)-Heuristik. Keterampilan Berpikir Kritis iv ABSTRACT The Logan Avenue Problem Solving (LAPS)-Heuristic learning model is a learning model that is able to encourage students to have critical thinking skills such as providing simple explanations, building basic skills, as well as organizing strategies and making conclusions. This research aims to determine the influence of the Logan Avenue Problem Solving (LAPS)-Heuristic Learning Model on Students' Critical Thinking Skills. The research was conducted in September 2023 at SD Muhammadiyah 1 Bandar Lampung. In this study there were two samples, namely class IV Abdullah Bin Ummar as the experimental class and class IV Abdullah Bin Abbas as the control class. This sample determination was carried out based on the Cluster Random Sampling technique. The research method used was a quasi experiment with a non-equivalent control group design. The instrument used is a test instrument in the form of essay questions. Based on the results of hypothesis testing using parametric statistical tests, namely the t-test, obtaining a significance level of 0.05, a sig (2-tailed) value of 0.000 was obtained. It can be seen that the sig (2-tailed) value < the significance level value (0.05), so H0 is rejected. This means that there is a significant influence of the application of the Logan Avenue Problem Solving (LAPS)-Heuristic learning model on students' critical thinking skills in science subjects. Students' critical thinking abilities in the experimental class have increased by obtaining an average score of 76.77. Meanwhile, the N�Gain Test on the effectiveness of applying the Logan Avenue Problem Solving (LAPS)-Heuristic learning model is in the medium category with a score of 0.44.
