Abstract

ABSTRAK Kemampuan pemecahan masalah merupakan salah satu unsur penting dipembelajaran matematika yang berguna untuk menyelesaikan suatu permasalahan matematika yang ditemui. Oleh sebab itu, setiap murid harus memiliki kemampuan dalam memecahkan suatu permasalahan yang dihadapi. Namun, terdapat faktor-faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi kemampuan pemecahan masalah diantaranya komunikasi matematis, penalaran matematis, dan lain-lain. Pada penelitian ini penulis melakukan penelitian di SMP Al�Huda Jati Agung. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan langsung dan tidak langsung komunikasi matematis terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis ditinjau dari penalaran matematis peserta didik. Pada penelitian ini penulis akan menggunakan metode penelitiaan pendekatan kuantitatif. Pemilihan sampel menggunakan Stratified random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan tes komunikasi matematis, kemampuam pemecahan masalah matematis, dan penalaran matematis. Uji hipotesis yang akan digunakan dalam penelitian penulis adalah analisis jalur (path analysis). Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan signifikan komunikasi matematis terhadap penalaran matematis, komunikasi matematis terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis, penalaran matematis terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis, komunikasi matematis terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis melalui penalaran matematis. Kata kunci: Komunikasi matematis, Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah, Penalaran Matematis iii ABSTRACT Problem solving ability is one of the important elements of learning mathematics which is useful for solving a mathematical problem encountered. Therefore, every student must have the ability to solve a problem at hand. However, there are factors that can affect problem solving abilities including mathematical communication, mathematical reasoning, and others. In this research the author conducted research at SMP Al-Huda Jati Agung. This study aims to determine the direct and indirect relationship of mathematical communication to mathematical problem solving abilities in terms of students' mathematical reasoning. In this study the writer will use a quantitative approach research method. Sample selection using stratified random sampling. Data collection techniques in this study used mathematical communication tests, mathematical problem solving abilities, and mathematical reasoning. The hypothesis test that will be used in the writer's research is path analysis. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant influence of mathematical communication on mathematical reasoning, mathematical communication on mathematical problem solving abilities, mathematical reasoning on mathematical problem solving abilities, mathematical communication on mathematical problem solving abilities through mathematical reasoning.
