Abstract

ABSTAK Kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan penalaran matematis ialah bagian yang penting dalam pembelajaran matematika. Berdasarkan hasil pra-penelitian dikelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Kotaagung Timur menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan penalaran matematis peserta didik masih tergolong rendah. Hal ini disebabkan belum adanya pemilihan model pembelajaran yang cermat sehingga diperlukan inovasi-inovasi baru untuk mendorong berkembangnya keterampilan tersebut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh model pembelajaran MURDER (Mood, Undestand, Recall, Digest, Expand, Review) berbantuan ice breaking terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan penalaran matematis peserta didik. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VIII A sebagai kelas eksperimen 2, kelas VIII B sebagai kelas eksperimen 1 dan kelas VIII D sebagai kelas kontrol. Memakai teknik pengambilan sampel Cluster Random Sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes, dokumentasi, serta observasi, serta uji normalitas dan homogenitas adalah dua jenis prosedur analisis data yang digunakan. Uji Manova digunakan dalam pengujian hipotesis penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian dari uji MANOVA menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran MURDER (Mood, Undestand, Recall, Digest, Expand, Review) berbantuan ice breaking terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis peserta didik, terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran MURDER (Mood, Understand, Recall, Digest, Expand, Review) berbantuan ice braking terhadap kemampuan penalaran matematis peserta didik, terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran MURDER (Mood, Understand, Recall, Digest, Expand, Review) berbantuan ice breaking terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan penalaran matematis peserta didik. Based on the results of pre�research in class VII of SMP Negeri 1 Kotaagung Timur, it shows that students' problem solving and mathematical reasoning abilities are still relatively low. This is because there has not been a careful selection of learning models so that new innovations are needed to encourage the development of these skills. The aim of this research is to find out whether there is an influence of the MURDER (Mood, Undestand, Recall, Digest, Expand, Review) learning model assisted by ice breaking on students' problem solving and mathematical reasoning abilities. The samples in this research were students from class VIII A as experimental class 2, class VIII B as experimental class 1 and class VIII D as control class. Using Cluster Random Sampling sampling technique. Data collection techniques Data collection techniques using tests, documentation and observation, as well as normality and homogeneity tests are two types of data analysis procedures used. The Manova test was used in testing the hypothesis of this research. The research results from the MANOVA test show that there is an influence of the MURDER (Mood, Undestand, Recall, Digest, Expand, Review) learning model assisted by ice breaking on students' mathematical problem solving abilities, there is an influence of the MURDER (Mood, Understand, Recall, Digest, Expand, Review) assisted by ice braking on students' mathematical reasoning abilities, there is an influence of the MURDER (Mood, Understand, Recall, Digest, Expand, Review) learning model assisted by ice breaking on students' problem solving and mathematical reasoning abilities.
