Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Talk Write (TTW) terhadap keaktifan siswa kelas IV SD dan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar IPA antara siswa yang belajar dengan model pembelajaran Think Talk Write (TTW) berbantuan media konkret dan siswa yang belajar dengan model pembelajaran konvensional pada siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Srimenanti Lampung Timur. Adapun masalah dalam penelitian ini yaitu siswa kurang antusias cenderung pasif dalam pembelajaran karena guru cenderung menggunakan model pembelajaran seperti metode ceramah sehingga siswa merasa bosan dan tidak tertarik saat kegiatan belajar mengajar akibatnya siswa kurang memahami materi yang disampaikan oleh guru. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu seluruh siswa SD Negeri Srimenanti Lampung Timur. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV A yang berjumlah 25 siswa dan IV B yang berjumlah 22 siswa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SD Negeri Srimenanti Lampung Timur. Dengan menggunakan dua kelas yaitu kelas IV A sebagai kelas kontrol yang menggunakan model pembelajaran Konvensional dan kelas IV B sebagai kelas eksperimen dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Think Talk Write (TTW) berbantuan media konkret. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian merupakan penelitian desain eksperimental semu (Quasi Experimental Design). Desain Eksperimental semu melakukan suatu cara untuk membandingkan kelompok. Desain ini mempunyai kelompok kontrol dan kelompok eksperimen. Quasi Experimental Design merupakan metode penelitian untuk melihat hubungan sebab-akibat yaitu perlakuan yang diberikan terhadap variabel bebas (x), untuk melihat hasilnya pada variabel terikat (y). Pemilihan sampel menggunakan teknik random sampling. Metode pengumpulan data dengan metode tes menggunakan instrument tes hasil belajar IPA dan analisis data menggunakan Uji Paired Test. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa Uji-T Paired Samples Test melalui aplikasi SPSS (Statistical Product And Service Solution) diperoleh nilai Sig < 0,05 (5%) pada Sig (2-Tailed) diperoleh 0,000 < 0,05 (5%), sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa H1 diterima. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan ini dapat membuktikan bahwa terdapat perbedaan kemampuan hasil belajar siswa mata Pelajaran IPA. Setelah diberikan treatment dan dilaksankan posttest, hasil belajar IPA dikelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol. Jadi, ada pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif tipe Think Talk Write berbatuan media konkret terhadap hasil belajar IPA kelas IV SD Negeri Srimenanti Lampung Timur. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe think talk write (TTW) berbantuan media konkret berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar IPA secara Signifikan. Kata Kunci : Think Talk Write, media konkret, konvensional, hasil belajar iv ABSTRACT This research aims to analyze the influence of the Think Talk Write (TTW) cooperative learning model on the activity of fourth grade elementary school students and to determine the differences in science learning outcomes between students who study with the Think Talk Write (TTW) learning model assisted by concrete media and students who study with conventional learning model for fourth grade students at SD Negeri Srimenanti, East Lampung. The problem in this research is that students who are less enthusiastic tend to be passive in learning because teachers tend to use learning models such as the lecture method so that students feel bored and uninterested during teaching and learning activities as a result of which students do not understand the material presented by the teacher. The population in this study were all students at SD Negeri Srimenanti, East Lampung. The sample for this research was class IV A, totaling 25 students and IV B, totaling 22 students. This research was carried out at Srimenanti Elementary School, East Lampung. By using two classes, namely class IV A as a control class using a conventional learning model and class IV B as an experimental class using the Think Talk Write (TTW) learning model assisted by concrete media. This research is quantitative research with the type of research being quasi experimental design research (Quasi Experimental Design). Quasi-experimental designs do a way to compare groups. This design has a control group and an experimental group. Quasi Experimental Design is a research method to see cause�and-effect relationships, namely the treatment given to the independent variable (x), to see the results on the dependent variable (y). Sample selection used random sampling techniques. The data collection method is a test method using a science learning outcomes test instrument and data analysis using the Paired Test. The research results also show that the T-Test Paired Samples Test via the SPSS (Statistical Product And Service Solution) application obtained a Sig value < 0.05 (5%) while the Sig (2-Tailed) obtained 0.000 < 0.05 (5%), so it can be concluded that H1 is accepted. Based on the results of this calculation, it can be proven that there are differences in the learning outcomes of students in science subjects. After being given treatment and carrying out a posttest, science learning outcomes in the experimental class were higher than those in the control class. So, there is an influence of the Think Talk Write type Cooperative Learning Model using concrete media on the science learning outcomes of class IV at SD Negeri Srimenanti, East Lampung. It can be concluded that the think talk write (TTW) cooperative learning model assisted by concrete media has a significant effect on science learning outcomes.
