Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi dari penerapan strategi Learning Start With A Question yang diterapkan dalam proses pembelajaran tematik terhadap keaktifan peserta didik di kelas V SDN 1 Gisting Permai Kabupaten Tanggamus. Seperti yang peneliti lihat di sekolah tersebut bahwa pendidik sudah menggunakan strategi yang disesuaikan dengan proses pembelajaran, tetapi peserta didik kurang aktif dalam proses pembelajaran berlangsung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh analisis strategi pembelajaran Learning Start With a Question terhadap keaktifan peserta didik di kelas V SDN 1 Gisting Permai Kabupaten Tanggamus . Berdasarkan data sekolah di SDN 1 Gisting Permai, pendidik sudah menggunakan LSQ, akan tetapi keaktifan belajar peserta didik masih terbilang rendah. Padahal menurut teori LSQ adalah strategi pembelajaran yang arahnya adalah untuk keaktifan belajar. Penelitian yang peneliti lakukan adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, untuk memperoleh keabsahan data peneliti menggunakan teknik triangulasi dari beberapa teknik, diantaranya wawancara, angket, dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis dengan kualitatif melalui teknik data reduksi, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh masyarakat di sekolah yang berperan di SD N 1 Gisting Permai, sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah wali kelas V dan peserta didik di SDN 1 Gisting Permai. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh antara strategi pembelajaran LSQ terhadap kekatifan belajar peserta didik. Strategi LSQ sendiri sebenarnya memiliki dampak yang positif jika dilakukan dengan kontinu dan konsisten untuk membentuk keaktifan dan melatih mental peserta didik khususnya dalam bertanya dan menjawab pertanyaan pendidik dan peserta didik lainnya. Kata Kunci: Strategi Learning Start With a Question, Keaktifan Belajar Peserta Didik iii ABSTRACT This research was motivated by the application of the Learning Start With A Question strategy which was applied in the thematic learning process to the activeness of students in class V of SDN 1 Gisting Permai, Tanggamus Regency. As the researchers saw in this school, educators had used strategies that were adapted to the learning process, but students were less active in the learning process. This research aims to find out how the analysis of the Learning Start With a Question learning strategy influences the activeness of students in class V of SDN 1 Gisting Permai, Tanggamus Regency. Based on school data at SDN 1 Gisting Permai, educators have used LSQ, but students' learning activity is still relatively low. In fact, according to LSQ theory, it is a learning strategy whose direction is for active learning. The research that the researcher conducted was descriptive qualitative research, to obtain the validity of the data the researcher used triangulation techniques from several techniques, including interviews, questionnaires and documentation. Data was analyzed qualitatively through data reduction techniques, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The population in this study was the entire community at school who played a role at SD N 1 Gisting Permai, the samples in this study were class V homeroom teachers and students at SDN 1 Gisting Permai. The results of the research show that there is an influence between the LSQ learning strategy on students' learning activeness. The LSQ strategy itself actually has a positive impact if it is carried out continuously and consistently to create activeness and train students' mentality, especially in asking and answering questions from educators and other students.
