Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilakukan pada kelas IV SDN 3 Kresnomulyo, Ambarawa Pringsewu yang dilatar belakangi oleh kurangnya kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA yang masih tergolong rendah, hal ini terlihat dari hasil tes soal kemampuan berpikir kreatif yang diberikan oleh peneliti, dimana persentase siswa yang memperoleh nilai diatas kkm sebesar 38% dan siswa yang memperoleh nilai dibawah kkm sebesar 62%. Rumusan masalah pada penelitian ini yaitu apakah ada pengaruh dari metode pembelajaran mind mapping pada pokok bahasan tumbuhan terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa kelas IV di SDN 3 Kresnomulyo. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode mind mapping terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian Quasy Experiment. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas IV SDN 3 Kresnomulyo. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV A dan IV B di SDN 3 Kresnomulyo. Teknik Pengambilan Sampel yang digunakan adalah probability sampling dengan teknik Cluster Random Sampling (Sampel acak). Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas IV A sebagai kelas kontrol dan IV B sebagai kelas eksperimen. Instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen tes berupa soal essay berjumlah 10 soal. Data penelitian dianalisis menggunakan uji prasyarat dan uji hipotesis uji-t (Independent sample t test). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan perhitungan uji t, dengan menggunakan SPSS nilai sig.(2-tailed) adalah 0,000 < 0,05. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima yang berarti bahwa terdapat pengaruh metode mind mapping terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA kelas IV di SDN 3 Kresnomulyo. Kata Kunci : Metode Mind Mapping, Kemampuan Berpikir Kreatif, Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam iv ABSTRACT This research was conducted in class IV of SDN 3 Kresnommulyo, Ambarawa Pringsewu, which was motivated by the lack of students‟ creative thinking abilities in science subjects which were still relatively low. This can be seen from the results of the test on creative thinking abilities given by the researcher, when the percentage of students who obtained scores above the kkm were 38% and students who scored below the kkm were 62%. The formulation of the problem in this research is whether there is an influence of the mind mapping learning method on the subject of plants on the creative thinking abilities of class IV students at SDN 3 Kresnomulyo. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of the mind mapping method on students‟ creative thinking abilities. This research uses the Quasy Experiment type of research. The population in this study were all clas IV students at SDN 3 Kresnomulyo. The sampling technique used is probability sampling with the Cluster Random Sampling technique (random sample). The sample in this study was class IV A dan IV B as the experimental class. This research instrument uses a test instrument in the form of essay questions totaling 10 questions. Research data was analyzed using prerequisite tests and hypothesis testing t-test (Independent Sample t Test). Based on the research results and t test calculations, using SPSS the sig value (sig-2 tailed) is 0.000 < 0.05. this shows that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means that there is an influence of the mind mapping method on students‟ creative thinking abilities in class IV science subjects at SDN 3 Kresnomulyo.
