Abstract

ABSTRAK Kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kemampuan representasi matematis sangat perlu dikuasai oleh masing-masing siswa untuk membekali siswa dalam kegiatan pembelajaran guna mengerjakan berbagai macam persoalan matematika. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk melihat perbedaan signifikan eksperimentasi model pembelajaran Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) dengan pembelajaran model Ekspositori terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis dan representasi matematis siswa. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII A dan VIII B SMP Negeri 1 Suoh. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan Quassy Eksperimen dengan menggunakan Posttest-only control group Design. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes kemampuan berpikir kritis dan representasi matematis. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji hipotesis Multivariate Analysis of Variance (Manova). Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis Manova, didapatkan kesimpulan bahwa Terdapat perbedaan signifikan eksperimentasi model pembelajaran Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) dengan pembelajaran model Ekspositori terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa, Terdapat perbedaan signifikan eksperimentasi model pembelajaran Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) dengan pembelajaran model konvensional terhadap kemampuan representasi matematis siswa. Terdapat perbedaan signifikan eksperimentasi model pembelajaran Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) dengan pembelajaran model Ekspositori terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis dan representasi matematis siswa. Kata Kunci: Model Pembelajaran Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) Berpikir Kritis, Representasi Matematis iii ABSTRACT The ability of critical thinking and the ability of mathematical representation must be mastered by each student in order to equip students in learning activities in order to work on a variety of mathematical problems. The purpose of this research is to see the significant difference between the experimentation of the Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) learning model and the Expository learning model on students' critical thinking ability and mathematical representation. The sample in this research is students of class VIII A and VIII B of SMP Negeri 1 Suoh. This research uses Quassy Experimental design by using Posttest-only control group Design. The data collection technique uses tests of critical thinking ability and mathematical representation. The data analysis technique uses Multivariate Analysis of Variance (Manova) hypothesis testing. Based on the results of the Manova hypothesis test, it was concluded that there is a significant difference between the Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) learning model experimentation and the Expository model learning on students' critical thinking ability, There is a significant difference between the Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) learning model experimentation and the conventional learning model towards students' mathematical representation ability. There is a significant difference between the experimentation of the Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) learning model and the Expository learning model on students' critical thinking ability and mathematical representation.
