Abstract

ABSTRAK Konservasi air merupakan salah satu upaya sadar dan gerakan peduli terhadap pengelolaan air dan tindakan sosial dalam menjaga keberlangsungan ketersediaan air. Pengetahuan tentang pengelolaan sumber daya air terikat dengan pemahaman siswa tentang konservasi, dan pengetahuan metode hemat air sangat penting untuk kepentingan komunitas global. Maka dari itu sekolah perlu menerapkan hal ini agar dapat menjadi contoh serta dapat bersinergi dalam pelestarian alam. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskripstif kualitatif. Sekolah yang di teliti berjumlah 4 sekolah di Kabupaten Pringsewu pada bulan Mei-Juni. Teknik pengambilan datanya dilakukan dengan 3 cara. Teknik observasi, Wawancara, dan Dokumentasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan indikator Water Conservation (Perangkat Penilaian Greenship Exiting Building versi 1.1) sebagai tolak ukur pengukuran konservasi air di 4 sekolah tersebut. Temuan Penelitian yang didapatkan yaitu pada indikator WAC 1 Prasyarat sudah dapat terpenuhi oleh ke 4 sekolah. WAC 1 Sub-Metering air hanya dipenuhi oleh SMAN 2 Pringsewu dan SMAS Xaverius Pringsewu. WAC 2 Kontrol Pemantauan Air semua sekolah sudah memenuhi di buktikan dengan dimilikinya petugas yang melakukan pengecekan dan pemeliharaan untuk menghindari dari kebocoran. WAC 3 Efisiensi Air Bersih SMAN 2 Pringsewu, MAN 1 Pringsewu, SMKN 1 Gading Rejo sudah memenuhi karena sudah memanfaatkan air hujan dan air bekas wudhu untuk pengairan kolam dan irigasi, SMAS Xaverius belum memenuhi karena masih menggunakan sumber air primer untuk semua kebutuhan. WAC 4 Kualitas Air belum ada sekolah yang memenuhi karena ke 4 sekolah yang di teliti tidak pernah melakukan pengecekan kualitas air. WAC 5 Air Alternatif dan Daur Ulang, sama seperti WAC 3, SMAS Xaverius tidak memenuhi indikator karena belum memanfaatkan air hujan sebagai air alternative. WAC 6 air minum sekolah yang memenuhi itu SMKN 1 Gading Rejo, karena sekolah ini sudah menghasilkan air minum sendiri. WAC 7 Pengurangan Sumur Dalam belum ada sekolah yang memenuhi. WAC 8 Efisiensi Keran Air hanya SMKN 1 Gading Rejo yang belum memenuhi. Ditarik kesimpulan pada 4 sekolah ini peringkat tertinggi di raih oleh SMAN 2 Pringsewu dengan total poin 7 predikat Silver, kemudian MAN 1 Pringsewu dan SMKN 1 Gading Rejo total poin sebanyak 6 predikat Silver, terakhir SMAS Xaverius total poin 4 dengan predikat Bronze Kata kunci : Water Conservation, GBCI, Pringsewu iv ABSTRACT Water conservation is a conscious effort and movement that cares about water management and social action in maintaining the sustainability of water availability. Knowledge of water resources management is tied to students' understanding of conservation, and knowledge of water-saving methods is essential to the benefit of the global community. Therefore, schools need to implement this so that they can be an example and can work together in preserving nature. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method. There were 4 schools studied in Pringsewu Regency in May-June. The data collection technique is carried out in 3 ways. Observation, Interview and Documentation techniques. This research uses the Water Conservation indicator (Greenship Exiting Building Assessment Tool version 1.1) as a benchmark for measuring water conservation in these 4 schools. The research findings obtained are that the WAC indicator 1 prerequisites have been fulfilled by the 4 schools. WAC 1 Sub�Metering water is only fulfilled by SMAN 2 Pringsewu and SMAS Xaverius Pringsewu. WAC 2 Water Monitoring Control for all schools has been fulfilled as proven by having officers who carry out checks and maintenance to prevent leaks. WAC 3 Clean Water Efficiency at SMAN 2 Pringsewu, MAN 1 Pringsewu, SMKN 1 Gading Rejo has fulfilled it because it has used rainwater and ablution water for pond watering and irrigation, SMAS Xaverius has not fulfilled it because it still uses primary water sources for all needs. No school has met WAC 4 Water Quality because the 4 schools studied never checked water quality. WAC 5 Alternative Water and Recycling, the same as WAC 3, SMAS Xaverius does not meet the indicators because it has not utilized rainwater as alternative water. The school's WAC 6 drinking water supply is SMKN 1 Gading Rejo, because this school already produces its own drinking water. WAC 7 Deep Well Reduction, there are no schools that have fulfilled it. WAC 8 Water Tap Efficiency, only SMKN 1 Gading Rejo has not met it. It can be concluded that in these 4 schools the highest ranking was achieved by SMAN 2 Pringsewu with a total of 7 points with a Silver predicate, then MAN 1 Pringsewu and SMKN 1 Gading Rejo with a total of 6 points with a Silver predicate, finally SMAS Xaverius totaled 4 points with a Bronze predicate.
