Abstract

ABSTRAK Selama tahun 2020-2022 Gini Ratio Kecamatan Sekincau menempati urutan pertama per Kecamatan yang ada di Kabupaten Lampung Barat. Hal ini menunjukkan adanya ketimpangan pendapatan masyarakat di Kecamatan Sekincau, dimana besar kecilnya pendapatan yang diterima sesuai klasifikasi mata pencaharian tentu sangat mempengaruhi pola pengeluaran masyarakat hal inilah yang sangat dirasakan oleh sebagian besar penduduk di Kecamatan Sekincau yang mana dengan berbedanya tingkat pendapatan yang diterima maka berbeda pula jumlah pengeluaran yang dikeluarkan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menanalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi ketimpangan pendapatan masyarakat di Kecamatan Sekincau dalam perspektif ekonomi Islam. Penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif eksploratif, penelitian kualitatif eksploratif adalah pendekatan untuk mengeksplorasi dan memahami makna individu atau kelompok dalam menanggapi masalah sosial atau manusia. Sumber data menggunakan data primer. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dan wawancara. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh Kepala Keluarga (KK) di Kecamatan Sekincau Kabupaten Lampung Barat sebanyak 5.392 KK dan sampel sebanyak 98 KK. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Rata-rata pendidikan masyarakat di Kecamatan Sekincau adalah SD-SMA, faktor demografis sangat mempengaruhi pekerjaan masyarakat di Kecamatan Sekincau karena dengan potensi yang ada masyarakat memanfaatkannya untuk bertani atau berkebun yang hanya cukup untuk memenuhi kebutuhan sehari�hari saja, masalah pengangguran di Kecamatan Sekincau cukup tinggi, kebanyakan masyarakat tidak memiliki pekerjaan tetap dan bekerja serabutan. Dalam Islam tidak membenarkan sikap berlebihan atau berfoya-foya oleh karena itu Islam sangat mengutamakan kebutuhan yang sangat mendasar dan melarang manusia untuk hidup bermewahan dan berlebihan. The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors that influence income inequality in Sekincau District from an Islamic economic perspective. This research is exploratory qualitative in nature, explorative qualitative research is an approach to explore and understand the meaning of individuals or groups in responding to social or human problems. Source of data using primary data. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and interviews. The population in this study were all heads of families (KK) in Sekincau District, West Lampung Regency, totaling 5,392 families and a sample of 98 families. Data analysis using qualitative is inductive. The results showed that the factors that influence income inequality in the Sekincau District include: The average education of the people in the Sekincau District is elementary-high school. which is only enough to meet their daily needs, the problem of unemployment in Sekincau District is quite high, most people do not have permanent jobs and work odd jobs and investment in Sekincau District is still very lacking. In the perspective of Islamic economics, according to Imam Al Ghozali, the income inequality of people in Sekincau District is related to poverty, which is a person's inability to meet their own needs. Inability to provide for what is not needed is not poverty. In Islam, excess or extravagance is not justified. Therefore, Islam prioritizes very basic needs and forbids humans to live in luxury and excess. Keywords: Inequality, Community Income, Islamic Economics.
