Abstract

ABSTRACT This research aims to develop Swishmax-4 based learning media, determine the feasibility and responses of students, as well as the effectiveness of Swishmax-4 based learning media with an ethnomathematics approach. This research uses Research and Development research with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation) development model. The data collection techniques used were interviews, questionnaires given to experts to determine the suitability of the product and questionnaires given by students to determine the attractiveness of the product being developed, as well as tests in the form of pretest and posttest questions to see the effectiveness of learning media through calculations using the effect size test. . The validation results from 6 validators show that overall the product received material expert validation results which obtained an average score of 80.33% in the very appropriate category and media expert validation results obtained an average value of 90.09% in the very suitable for use category. In a small-scale trial of 10 students at SMP Negeri 1 Seputih Agung, the Swishmax-4 based media attractiveness results were 77.60% in the attractive category, while in a large-scale trial of 32 students at SMP Negeri 1 Seputih Agung the results were obtained. The attractiveness of Swishmax-4 based media was 85.50% in the very attractive category. In the effectiveness test of the Swishmax-4 learning media, calculation results were obtained using an effect size of 0.59 with medium criteria, so it can be concluded that there is a significant increase in learning outcomes. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembeajaran berbasis Swishmax-4, mengetahui kelayakan dan respon peserta didik, serta keefektifan media pembelajaran berbasis Swishmax-4 dengan pendekatan etnomatematika. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian Reseach and Development dengan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Desaign, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation). Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, angket yang diberikan kepada para ahli untuk mengetahui kelayakan produk dan angket yang diberikan oleh peserta didik untuk mengetahui kemenarikan produk yang dikembangkan, serta tes berupa soal pretest dan posttest untuk melihat keefektifan media pembelajaran melalui perhitungan menggunakan uji effect size. Hasil validasi dari 6 validator menunjukkan bahwa secara keseluruhan produk memperoleh hasil validasi ahli materi memperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 80,33% dengan kategori sangat layak dan hasil validasi ahli media memperolah nilai rata-rata 90,09% dengan kategori sangat layak digunakan. Pada uji coba skala kecil dari 10 peserta didik di SMP Negeri 1 Seputih Agung diperoleh hasil kemenarikan media berbasis Swishmax-4 sebesar 77,60% dengan kategori menarik, sedangankan pada uji coba skala besar dari 32 peserta didik di SMP Negeri 1 Seputih Agung diperoleh hasil kemenarikan media berbasis Swishmax-4 sebesar 85,50% dengan kategori sangat menarik. Pada uji keefektifan media pembelajaran Swishmax-4 diperoleh hasil perhitungan mengunakan effect size 0,59 dengan kriteria sedang, maka dapat disimpulkan ada peningkatan hasil belajar yang signifikan.
