Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to describe the phenomenon of hallyu in the phenomenological perspective of Edmund Husserl (study on the K-pop community in Bandar Lampung). This research is a field research with a descriptive research type, in this case by observing members of the K-pop community NCTzen Lampung as a society that feels the hallyu phenomenon directly. To find out how the hallyu phenomenon in the K-pop community in Bandar Lampung and how the hallyu phenomenon in the phenomenological perspective of Edmund Husserl. This study used observational data collection techniques, interviews, and documentation. Primary data were obtained directly from respondents regarding the hallyu phenomenon in the K-pop community in Bandar Lampung, while secondary data in the form of theories and print media and electronic media in the form of journals, internet article books obtained through official websites, such as government-owned sites, universities or online news portals and other supporting data were obtained from libraries, documentation and profile data of community members. All these data are materials to describe the hallyu phenomenon in the K-pop community in Bandar Lampung and the hallyu phenomenon in the phenomenological perspective of Edmund Husserl. This study discusses the phenomenon of hallyu entering Indonesia, specifically in the NCTzen Lampung community because of the rise of popular culture today which makes members of the NCTzen Lampung community become more fond of this side of the culture. The results showed that the hallyu phenomenon in the K-pop community in Bandar Lampung is a social reality that is present in the midst of technological developments. This is a form of lifestyle lived by fans of K-pop culture in the city of Bandar Lampung which includes: community interaction, imitation of fashion style, and symbols used as a representation of K-pop fans. In addition, there are eight indicators that show that hallyu can develop in the millennial community in Bandar Lampung. This research uses qualitative descriptive analysis with a phenomenological approach by Edmund Hussel, which is a method to explain phenomena in their purity. Phenomena are iv everything that in some way appears in human consciousness, either in the form of something as a result of fiction or in the form of something real, in the form of ideas or in the form of reality created by the use of language by constructing the experiences of the NCTzen Lampung community towards Korean pop culture. The results of this study with the hallyu phenomenon made the NCTzen Lampung community familiar with a new culture, namely K-pop culture and made members of the NCTzen Lampung community love the culture to make changes in lifestyle. Keywords: Phenomenology of Edmund Husserl, Hallyu, K-pop Community v ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan fenomena hallyu dalam perspektif fenomenologi Edmund Husserl (studi pada komunitas K-pop di Bandar Lampung). Penelitian ini adalah penelitian lapangan (field research) dengan tipe penelitian deskriptif, dalam hal ini dengan mengamati anggota komunitas K-pop NCTzen Lampung sebagai masyarakat yang merasakan fenomena hallyu secara langsung. Untuk mengetahui bagaimana fenomena hallyu pada komunitas K-pop di Bandar Lampung dan bagaimana fenomena hallyu dalam perspektif fenomenologi Edmund Husserl. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data primer diperoleh langsung dari responden mengenai fenomena hallyu pada komunitas K-pop di Bandar Lampung, sedangkan data sekunder berupa teori-teori dan media cetak maupun media elektronik berupa jurnal, buku artikel internet yang diperoleh melalui situs-situs website resmi, seperti situs milik pemerintah, universtas atau portal berita online serta data penunjang lainnya diperoleh dari kepustakaan, dokumentasi dan data profil anggota komunitas. Semua data tersebut merupakan bahan�bahan untuk mendeskripsikan fenomena hallyu pada komunitas K-pop di Bandar Lampung dan fenomena hallyu dalam perspektif fenomenologi Edmund Husserl. Penelitian ini membahas tentang fenomena hallyu yang masuk ke Indonesia khusus pada komunitas NCTzen Lampung karena maraknya budaya populer saat ini yang membuat anggota komunitas NCTzen Lampung menjadi lebih menggemari sisi budaya tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa fenomena hallyu pada komunitas K-pop di Bandar Lampung merupakan realitas sosial yang hadir ditengah-tengah perkembangan teknologi. Hal tersebut merupakan bentuk gaya hidup yang dijalani oleh penggemar budaya K-pop di kota Bandar Lampung yang meliputi: interaksi komunitas, imitasi fashion style, dan simbol yang dipakai sebagai representasi fans K�pop. Selain itu terdapat delapan indikator yang menunjukkan bahwa hallyu dapat berkembang pada masyarakat milenial di Bandar Lampung. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi oleh Edmund Husserl, merupakan vi metode untuk menjelaskan fenomena dalam kemurniannya. Fenomena adalah segala sesuatu yang dengan suatu cara tertentu tampil dalam kesadaran manusia, baik berupa sesuatu sebagai hasil rekaan maupun berupa sesuatu yang nyata, yang berupa gagasan maupun berupa kenyataan yang diciptakan oleh penggunaan bahasa dengan mengkonstruksikan pengalaman-pengalaman komunitas NCTzen Lampung terhadap budaya Korean pop. Hasil dari penelitian ini dengan adanya fenomena hallyu membuat komunitas NCTzen Lampung mengenal budaya baru yaitu budaya K-pop dan membuat anggota komunitas NCTzen Lampung menggemari budaya tersebut hingga membuat perubahan-perubahan dalam gaya hidup.
