Abstract

ABSTRAK Pemahaman konsep, berpikir kreatif, dan self esteem matematis merupakan keterampilan matematika dasar yang dibutuhkan peserta didik untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan. Merujuk pada hasil pra penelitian diperoleh bahwa pemahaman konsep peserta didik masih lemah karena rata-rata hasil tes masih di bawah KKM. Kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik juga masih rendah karena minat peserta didik yang kurang dalam menyelesaikan soal-soal matematika yang membutuhkan banyak strategi. Aspek afektif self esteem peserta didik tergolong kurang karena peserta didik masih menganggap bahwa matematika itu pelajaran yang menakutkan. Metode pembelajaran yang kurang inovasi menjadi salah satu faktor penyebabnya. Melihat hal itu penulis melaksanakan penelitian dengan metode pembelajaran case based reasoning. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian quasy experiment dengan desain penelitian post-test only control group. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VIII-D dan VIII-E dengan teknik sampling acak sederhana (simple random sampling). Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini berupa dokumentasi, tes, angket, dan observasi. Teknik prasyarat yang digunakan yaitu uji normalitas dan homogenitas multivariat serta uji hipotesis dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji Multivariat Analysis Of Variance (Manova). Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa terdapat pengaruh metode pembelajaran case based reasoning terhadap pemahaman konsep, berpikir kreatif, dan self esteem matematis peserta didik, terhadap pemahaman konsep dan berpikir kreatif matematis peserta didik, terhadap pemahaman konsep dan self esteem matematis peserta didik, terhadap berpikir kreatif dan self esteem matematis peserta didik, terhadap pemahaman konsep peserta didik, terhadap berpikir kreatif matematis, terhadap self esteem matematis peserta didik. Kata Kunci : Pemahaman Konsep, Berpikir Kreatif, Self Esteem Matematis, dan Metode Pembelajaran Case Based Reasoning. iv ABSTRACT Understanding concepts, creative thinking, and math self-esteem are basic math skills students need to solve problems. Referring to the results of the pre-research, it was found that students' understanding of concepts is still weak because the average test results are still below the MOH. Students' creative thinking ability is also still low due to the lack of student interest in solving math problems that require many strategies. The affective aspect of students' self-esteem is classified as lacking because students still think that mathematics is a scary subject. Learning methods that lack innovation is one of the contributing factors. Seeing that, the author conducted a study using the case-based reasoning learning method. This research uses a quantitative approach with a quasi�experimental type of research with a post-test only control group study design. The sample in this study is class VIII-D and VIII-E students using a simple random sampling technique. Data collection techniques in this research include documentation, tests, questionnaires and observations. The prerequisite techniques used are multivariate normality and homogeneity tests and hypothesis testing in this research using the Multivariate Analysis of Variance (Manova) test. The results of the study show that there is an influence of case�based reasoning learning methods on students' understanding of concepts, creative thinking and mathematical self-esteem, students' understanding of concepts and creative mathematical thinking, on students' understanding of concepts and mathematics. self-esteem, on creative thinking and self-esteem. students' math value, students' conceptual understanding, students' math creative thinking, students' math self-esteem.
