Abstract

ABSTRAK Tradisi merupakan kebiasaan-kebiasaan yang bersifat magsi�religius dari kehidupan suatu penduduk asli yang meliputi mengenai nilai-nilai budaya, norma-norma, hukum dan aturan-aturan yang saling berkaitan, dan kemudian menjadi suatu sistem atau peraturan yang sudah mantap serta mencakup segala konsepsi sistem budaya dari suatu kebudayaan untuk mengatur tindakan sosial. Begitupun dalam tradisi topeng sakura yang dileastarikan pada masyarakat pekon Balak hingga saat ini. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana tradisi topeng sakura di pekon Balak Kecamatan Batu Brak Lampung Barat dan bagaimana solidariitas sosial masyarakat dalam tradisi topeng sakura di Pekon Balak Kecamatan Batu Brak Lampung Barat. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada masyarakat Pekon Balak Kecamatan Batu Brak Lampung Barat dengan jenis penelitian kualitatif dan menggunakan pendekatan sosiologis. Metode pengumpulan data observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi dengan menggunakan metode pengambilan sampel purposive sampling. Kemudian menggunakan metode induktif dalam proses penarikan kesimpulan. Serta menggunakan teori solidaritas Emile Durkhem. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa tradisi Topeng sakura di pekon Balak Kecamatan Batu Brak Lampung Barat yaitu sebuah tradisi yang dilaksanakan setelah hari raya Idul Fitri pada tanggal 1 sampai 7 syawal yang diikuti oleh seluruh masyarakat dengan menggenakan pakaian dan topeng agar tidak bisa dikenali oleh orang lain dan dilakukan berpindah-pindah dari satu pekon ke pekon lainya yang memilki makna sebagai rasa syukur setelah satu bulan melaksanakan ibadah puasa ramadahan dan sebagai symbol kemenangan melawan hawa nafsu. Dan solidariitas sosial masyarakat dalam tradisi topeng sakura di Pekon Balak Kecamatan Batu Brak Lampung Barat termasuk kedalam solidaritas mekanik dan terjalin sangat erat dalam proses persiapan hingga acara selesai masyarakat bersama-sama mempersiapakan keperluan yang dibutuhkan dengan bekerjasama dan gotong royong dan dalam proses pelaksanaan terjalin interaksi antar individu didalam masyarakat sehingga dapat menciptakan ruang untuk saling mengenal, memahami, menghargai dan menghormati perbedaan. ABSTRACT Traditions are magical-religious habits of the life of a native population which include cultural values, norms, laws and rules that are interrelated, and then become a system or regulation that is established and covers all conceptions. the cultural system of a culture to regulate social action. Likewise, the tradition of sakura masks has been preserved in the Pekon Balak community to this day. The formulation of the problem in this research is how the cherry blossom mask tradition is in Pekon Balak, Batu Brak District, West Lampung and what is the social solidarity of the community in the cherry blossom mask tradition in Pekon Balak, Batu Brak District, West Lampung. This research was carried out in the Pekon Balak community, Batu Brak District, West Lampung with a qualitative research type and using a sociological approach. The data collection method is observation, interviews and documentation using the purposive sampling method. Then use the inductive method in the process of drawing conclusions. And using Emile Durkhem's solidarity theory. The results of the research show that the cherry blossom mask tradition in Pekon Balak, Batu Brak District, West Lampung is a tradition carried out after the Eid al-Fitr holiday on 1 to 7 Shawwal which is followed by the whole community wearing clothes and masks so that they cannot be recognized by other people and is carried out moving from one pekon to another which has the meaning of gratitude after one month of fasting during Ramadhan and as a symbol of victory against lust. And the social solidarity of the community in the cherry blossom mask tradition in Pekon Balak, Batu Brak District, West Lampung is included in mechanical solidarity and is very closely intertwined in the preparation process until the event is finished. The community together prepares the necessary needs by working together and working together and in the implementation process there is interaction between individuals in society so that they can create space to get to know each other, understand, appreciate and respect differences.
