Abstract

ABSTRAK Berdasarkan penelitian di SDN 02 Campang Raya, pendidik kurang tepat dalam memilih dan memvariasikan model pembelajaran, sehingga peserta didik cenderung kurang aktif dan hanya mendengarkan serta mencatat apa yang disampaikan oleh guru. Metode pembelajaran yang digunakan masih terbatas pada metode ceramah, sehingga guru tidak terlibat langsung dalam proses pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep peserta didik kelas 1 dalam materi penjumlahan dan pengurangan dalam pelajaran matematika di SDN 02 Campang Raya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode TGT (teams games tournament) berbantu alat peraga pohon pintar dalam materi Indahnya Kebersamaan. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas kolaboratif yang terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 22 peserta didik kelas 1. Rumusan masalah penelitian ini adalah apakah penerapan metode TGT (teams games tournament) dengan alat peraga pohon pintar dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep peserta didik dalam materi penjumlahan dan pengurangan kelas 1 di SDN 02 Campang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengumpulkan data sejauh mana penerapan metode TGT (teams games tournament) dengan alat peraga pohon pintar dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep peserta didik dalam materi penjumlahan dan pengurangan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman konsep penjumlahan dan pengurangan dalam pembelajaran di kelas. Presentase ketuntasan juga meningkat, yaitu 36,36% pada pra-penelitian, 72,72% pada siklus I, dan 90,90% pada siklus II. Demikianlah penerapan metode TGT (teams games tournament) berbantu alat peraga pohon pintar berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman konsep peserta didik dalam materi penjumlahan dan pengurangan di kelas 1 SDN 02 Campang Raya. Kata Kunci: Metode TGT, pohon Pintar, Pemahaman Konsep Penjumlahan dan Pengurangan. iv ABSTRACT Based on research at SDN 02 Campang Raya, educators are not precise in choosing and varying learning models, so students tend to be less active and only listen and note down what the teacher says. The learning method used is still limited to the lecture method, so the teacher is not directly involved in the learning process. The aim of this research is to increase the conceptual understanding of class 1 students in addition and subtraction material in mathematics lessons at SDN 02 Campang Raya. This research uses the TGT (teams games tournament) method with the help of smart tree props in the material The Beauty of Togetherness. This type of research is collaborative classroom action research which consists of planning, implementation, observation and reflection stages. The subjects of this research were 22 grade 1 students. The formulation of the research problem is whether the application of the TGT (teams games tournament) method with smart tree teaching aids can improve students' understanding of concepts in addition and subtraction class 1 material at SDN 02 Campang. The aim of this research is to collect data on the extent to which the application of the TGT (teams games tournament) method with smart tree props can improve students' understanding of concepts in addition and subtraction material. The results of this research show an increase in understanding of the concepts of addition and subtraction in classroom learning. The percentage of completeness also increased, namely 36.36% in pre�research, 72.72% in cycle I, and 90.90% in cycle II. Thus, the application of the TGT (teams games tournament) method with the help of smart tree props succeeded in increasing students' conceptual understanding in addition and subtraction material in class 1 of SDN 02 Campang Raya.
