Abstract

ABSTRAK PERAN GURU BIMBINGAN DAN KONSELING DALAM MENGURANGI PRILAKU MENCONTEK PADA PESERTA DIDIK DI SMA NEGERI 1 SUKADANA LAMPUNG TIMUR OLEH TIKA NURAENI Perilaku menyontek dapat merugikan diri sendiridan juga orang lain, karena orang yang melakukannya dia sebagaimana menipu dirinya sendiri. Sejalan dengan pendapat Merriam & Webster yang menyatakan bahwa perilaku menyontek sering dikaitkan dengan kecurangan karena merugikan tidak hanya bagi diri sendiri tetapi orang lain. Menyontek adalah kegiatan menghilangkan nilai-nilai yang berharga dengan melakukan ketidakjujuran atau penipuan. Perilaku mencontek yang kurang baik terdapat di sekolah SMA NEGERI 1 SUKADANA LAMPUNG TIMUR. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah Untuk Mengetahui peran guru BK dalam mengurangi perilaku peserta didik menyontek di SMA Negri 1 Sukadana Lampung timur Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif, data yang dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi yang melibatkan guru bimbingan dan konseling (BK) yang bertugas. Hasil penelitian tentang peran guru bimbingan konseling di SMA Negeri 1 sukadana Lampung Timur dengan memberikan layanan informasi yang materinya berkaitan dengan mengurangi kebiasaan menyontek, menggunakan metode ceramah sekaligus memberikan memotivasi kepada Peserta Didik agar Peserta Didik tersebut memperbaiki cara belajarnya. Kata kunci: peran guru BK, Perilaku mencontek. iii THE ROLE OF THE GUIDANCE AND COUNSELING TEACHER IN REDUCE CHEATING BEHAVIOR IN STUDENTS AT SMA NEGERI 1 SUKADANA, LAMPUNG TIMUR BY TIKA NURAENI Cheating behavior can harm yourself and others, because the person who does it is cheating himself. This is in line with the opinion of Merriam & Webster which states that cheating behavior is often associated with cheating because it is detrimental not only to oneself but to others. Cheating is an activity of eliminating valuable values by committing dishonesty or fraud. Cheating behavior that is not good is found in SMA NEGERI 1 SUKADANA LAMPUNG TIMUR. The purpose of this study was to determine the role of BK teachers in reducing the behavior of students cheating in SMA Negeri 1 Sukadana, East Lampung. The method used in this study was a qualitative descriptive method, data collected through interviews, observation and documentation involving guidance and counseling teachers (BK). Which is in charge of. The results of the research on the role of counseling guidance teachers at SMA Negeri 1 Sukadana, East Lampung by providing information services whose material is related to reducing the habit of cheating, using the lecture method as well as motivating students so that these students improve their learning methods.
