Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan media board game dalam pelajaran matematika untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis di sekolah dasar dengan menggunakan media board game dapat belajar sambil bermain dan bisa dibawa kemana-mana agar tercapai pembelajaran yang efektif, efisien dan berdaya guna menarik. Metode penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (R&D) berdasarkan model ADDIE yang terdiri dari lima tahapan yaitu Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation dan Evaluation. Subyek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas IV. Data penelitian diperoleh dengan teknik wawancara, angket dan tes. Sebelum media board game digunakan dilakukannya tahap validasi dengan melibatkan enam validator yang terbagi atas validator ahli media, ahli materi dan ahli bahasa. Tahap uji coba dilakukan dengan desain One Group Pretest-Posttest, subjek uji coba skala kecil melibatkan 15 peserta didik dan subjek uji coba skala besar melibatkan 30 peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai kelayakan media board game oleh ahli media mencapai 78% termasuk dalam kelayakan “Cukup layak”, hasil penilaian ahli materi mencapai 92% termasuk dalam kelayakan “layak” dan hasil penilaian ahli bahasa mencapai 94% termasuk dalam kelayakan “layak”. Hasil respons pendidik dan peserta didik terhadap media board game dalam pelajaran matematika untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis di sekolah dasar respons pendidik mencapai 96% dengan kriteria “Sangat Menarik”, respons peserta didik pada uji coba skala kecil mencapai 94% dengan kriteria “Sangat Menarik” dan uji coba skala besar mencapai 93% dengan kriteria “Sangat Menarik”. Serta efektivitas media board game mata pelajaran matematika berdasarkan hasil analisis data dapat dilihat dari rata-rata nilai pretest pada skala kecil yaitu 44 dan nilai posttest 88, N-Gain memperoleh hasil 0,79 dengan kategori “Tinggi”. Pada skala besar dari rata-rata nilai posttest 85,50 dan nilai posttest 44,50 dengan N-Gain memperoleh hasil 0,75 dengan kategori “Tinggi”. Kata Kunci: ADDIE, Board Game, Berpikir Kritis. iv ABSTRACT This research aims to produce board game media in mathematics lessons to improve critical thinking skills in elementary schools by using board game media that can learn while playing and can be taken anywhere to achieve effective, efficient and interesting learning. This research method is Research and Development (R&D) based on the ADDIE model which consists of five stages, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. The subjects of this research were class IV students. Research data was obtained using interview techniques, questionnaires and tests. Before the board game media is used, a validation stage is carried out involving six validators, divided into media expert validators, material experts and language experts. The trial phase was carried out with a One Group Pretest-Posttest design, small-scale trial subjects involving 15 students and large-scale trial subjects involving 30 students. The results of the research showed that the board game media feasibility score by media experts reached 78%, including "quite feasible", the material expert assessment results reached 92%, including "decent" feasibility, and the results of the language experts' assessment reached 94%, including "decent" feasibility. The results of educators' and students' responses to board game media in mathematics lessons to improve critical thinking skills in elementary schools, educators' responses reached 96% with the criteria "Very Interesting", students' responses in small-scale trials reached 94% with the criteria "Very Interesting" and large-scale trials reached 93% with the "Very Interesting" criterion. And the effectiveness of board game media in mathematics subjects based on the results of data analysis can be seen from the average pretest score on a small scale, namely 44 and posttest score of 88, N-Gain obtained a result of 0.79 in the "High" category. On a large scale, the average posttest score is 85.50 and the posttest score is 44.50 with N-Gain obtaining a result of 0.75 in the "High" category. Keyword: ADDIE, Board Game, Critical Thinking
