Abstract

ABSTRAK Kemampuan prosedural matematis menjadi salah satu kemampuan yang diperlukan oleh setiap peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran matematika. Melalui kemampuan prosedural matematis siswa dapat mengetahui tingkat pemahamannya terhadap suatu konsep matematis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran LAPS-Heuristik dan self confidence terhadap kemampuan prosedural peserta didik. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian Quasi Experimental Design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas IX dengan teknik sampling cluster random sampling. Materi yang digunakan yaitu persamaan kuadrat. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes kemampuan prosedural dan angket self confidence. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan analysis of covariance (one-way ancova). Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh perbedaan kemampuan prosedural matematis peserta didik yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran LAPS Heuristik dan ekspositori dengan mengontrol self confidence dimana peserta didik yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran LAPS-Heuristik lebih baik dari pada peserta didik yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran ekspositori. Terdapat pengaruh self confidence terhadap kemampuan prosedural matematis peserta didik yang terlihat dari kurva regresi yang menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi self confidence peserta didik maka semakin tinggi juga kemampuan prosedural matematis peserta didik tersebut, serta terdapat pengaruh secara simultan antara model pembelajaran LAPS-Heuristik dan self confidence terhadap kemampuan prosedural matematis peserta didik. Kata Kunci: Model LAPS-Heuristik, Self Confidence, Kemampuan Prosedural Matematis iv ABSTRACT Mathematical procedural abilities are one of the abilities needed by every student in the mathematics learning process. Through mathematical procedural abilities, students can determine their level of understanding of a mathematical concept. This study aims to determine the effect of the LAPS-Heuristic learning model and self�confidence on students' procedural abilities. This research is a type of Quasi Experimental Design research. The sample in this research was class IX students using a cluster random sampling technique. The material used is quadratic equations. The instruments used were procedural ability tests and self-confidence questionnaires. Hypothesis testing uses analysis of covariance (one�way ancova). The results of this study obtained differences in the mathematical procedural abilities of students who were taught using the LAPS Heuristic and expository learning models by controlling self-confidence where students who were taught using the LAPS�Heuristic learning model were better than students who were taught using the expository learning model. There is an effect of self�confidence on students' mathematical procedural abilities which can be seen from the regression curve which shows that the higher the students' self-confidence, the higher the learning outcomes and mathematical procedural abilities of these students, and there is a simultaneous influence of the LAPS-Heuristic and self learning models. confidence in students' mathematical procedural abilities.
